Default Trouble with XNA game studio and zune connection

When I click on the picture of the Zune in the add a device part... so that it can start reading connectivity between my computer and the zune...this error message keeps popping up. What do I need to do?

"Unhandled Exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediatley.

Value cannot be null
Parameter name: version"

Whats your operating system? Is it 64-bit? 64-bit isnt supported by XNA yet, if you have a 32-bit then try reinstalling xna

All I can find is that it's XP version 5.1 and has service pack 3. Don't see anything about what 32 or 64 bit.

OK, you're definitely running a 32-bit OS, which should work.

Try using RIG (see link in sig).
