Default [SOLVED] Zune Wont Deploy

I have a problem deploying the games to my zune. I have had games on my zune before but I lost all of the games when I deleted the program (c#) on accident. I downloaded it again and started to get my games back but I soon realized that none of the games work deploy. I tried unistalling all of the programs including Xna, and C# and reinstalling it and it did not work. I have even followed instructions like the one you wrote, and it still does not deploy. At first when I try and deploy the game, an error message comes up that says an "unknown error has occured during method invoke" and I try deploying it again and it says that it could not deploy and could not find my zune connected make sure it is njot syncing ect. My zune says that it is waiting for the computer but doesnt go futher than that. Also, everything is up to date. I was able to install RIG on my zune, but no games will deploy using that either.

Is Zune Software running when you deploy? When I first started getting zune games, none of my games would deploy unless I had Zune Software opened and my zune said "Connected".

I didn't know it had to be opened. I also have to restart the zune software, unplug the zune, and reset the zune to deploy another.

Hmm. The error message you posted is really generic and I have no idea what it could mean.

a) Have you tried back+up (to reboot the Zune), then back+center+left immediately after it starts rebooting (until it starts clearing the HDD)? This will wipe out both the firmware and data partitions on your Zune.
b) Could you try deploying with XNA and copy and paste the log from the Output window (view > output)?

I tried doing your second option but couldnt get that to work. I tried many times but it still says I have firmware 2.5. I tried deploying from XNA again and I think this is what you wanted:

------ Build started: Project: BeatWave, Configuration: Release Zune ------
BeatWave -> C:\Documents and Settings\Owner.YOUR-AT5QGAAC3Z.000\Desktop\Zuneboards Games Package\BeatWave v0.2 by Greenskull and Link9228\bin\Zune\Release\TheBeat.exe
------ Deploy started: Project: BeatWave, Configuration: Release Zune ------
Deploying to Sir Justin...
Preparing device runtime...
Deploy failed with the following error: Unknown error during method invoke.
========== Build: 1 succeeded or up-to-date, 0 failed, 0 skipped ==========
========== Deploy: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped ==========

It seems like the error is occurring when it tries to deploy the runtimes.

Try downloading SIR TET and extracting the .exe using 7-zip to a folder near the root of your drive (like c:\rig or something). It should extract folders like content and fonts and files like rigdp.exe. Then run rigdp.exe and see what happens.

Do NOT extract it to your desktop.

I did what you said amd mothing else changed. I then decided to try removing my firmeware again. I was able to clear my firmware on my zune manually. I then reinstalled everything and tried deploying the games. It now works on both RIG and C#. I thnk the problem was because of a damaged firmware. Thanks for your help. +rep
