[Solved]Custom Software Background - Help Please..
Yeah I need help with the hack...I downloaded the hack
and then opened it and got that pop up "Custom Background - Restorator ResPatcher and well I don't know what to do from their... yeah I'm a nub at this. All I did was press start...and well got an error. Heres a picture.. sorry if it's big..  What do I enter in the File to be patched and Name of new (patched) file.. I'm lost ..

You just put it into the program files and then start the software like you normally would... then in the settings you can change the background.

K just did that nothing happened software is still the same...didn't see the option to use custom zune background in settings still..
Edit: Never mind I got it to work

 Edit: whats wierd is I no longer have that option!? EditX2: Oh wait, I realized my advice was wrong, I forgot you do have to run the file once it's in the program files... my bad. I just had to redownload the hack, I had forgotten you had to do that.

This is a better hack...
http://www.mjefferson.net/2008/02/20...re-customizer/ It allows you to browse a picture and set it as the BG. It allows you to change the colour of fonts to any colour of your choice.

Ok so i cant get this to work?? wen i run the installation, it says i already have a filename called zune so i ok that, and then the zune software wont open, so i delete the hack, and re-install it with a different name and nothing happens? anyone? cheers.

you have to copy the file to your zune folder. usually it's c:\program files\zune . then run the file. BUT after i ran the patch, my zune software wont start=T i tried rebooting my pc several times but it just wont load up so i had to reinstall it. *sigh*

i think the other hack isnt compatible with the new zune software.
