Hi, stumbled upon this when I was trying to find something that I could use instead of the zune software and it looks perfect.

I have been having some trouble though, and it's like the last step too.

So I get my zune hooked up and it's syncing and unlocked and all that cool stuff and I run zAlt as admin because I'm using vista 64-bit and everything looks fine. I can even see my zune as a storage device on my comp. The problem comes when I open MediaMonkey to transfer files. All the instructions say to wait then it just pops up, my problem, it isn't poping up. at all.

If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

my I got it unlocked and windows media player detects it, but when I try putting it on itunes, it doesn't work (I have it as Ipod on zAlternator)

That's because this version of zAlt doesn't support Software 2.5

This is all getting very confusing for me with zAlternator, ZunePackage, zSuite,UnZune, HDD Hack, etc. I would be very grateful if someone would be patient and break this down simply for me.

What I want to do is very basic. I just want my Zune 80 to display exactly what is in WMP11 or Music (Vista). That's it. With my previous iRiver, I just dragged and dropped and it was done..none of this other.

I'm running Vista 32bit. I've been screwing around with this for a few months now (since I got my Zune) with all of the confusion, reading pages and pages in the forums, PM's, waiting for broken download sites to be up again and I just want it done. Btw...the HDD Hack link is broken and I need it for this. Another option?

I'd like this programme to...

I've used hdhack and zsuite, non of it worked (is see the zune as an external hdd now, but cant place any files in there)

When i use the original software, only about 60% is actually shown as music, so i lose a lot of music because the programma don't detect it. That's why i need an alternative to the software, like zalternator...

But a broken link doens't get me anywere, so please upload to rapidshere/megaupload of any sort.

Alright, followed all the instructions. It worked the first time, but as soon as I went to sync my Zune with WMP11 again; it doesn't work. It gives me the same problem and I have to repeat the sync with zune end process game again.

The original works for 2.5, or the one for 2.0-2.3, anyway. I tried it, just for the hell of it, and it worked fine, though It copied everything in my library on my zune.

I am using the latest version of Winamp and when trying to sync my Zune, the following issue occurs. Under 'Portables' in Winamp, it displays 'Loading Zune'. But it never finishes and then Winamp crashes with the following 2 error screens.

winamp.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c910193" reference memory at "0x774eef4a". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Microsoft Visual C++ Visual Runtime Library
