Yeah, I read like 2 posts into the 3rd page. I don't like reading about arguments, especially ones involving me.
But,
Anachostic, I was not insulting you. When I said about VB6, I was talking about in my one business computer programming, we did RPG/COBOL/SQL for 3 years. For the last 2 weeks or so, we finally got to try a more real programming language, VB6. At the time I was already making games in C# so I was more inclined with C# and it's structure. I'm not saying VB is a bad language at all. I'm just not used to it, I can't put a language down for that reason, nobody should. I said "only made games" because we only had 2 weeks to learn anything, it was easy to learn the basics, so I just learned the basics so I could code simple games. I don't have much programming experience, contrary to what people say on these forums.
I like to joke around, not to make people want to stop persuing programming, but to [s]ensure nobody wants to start![/s] let the newer programmers to take a step back and realize they need to start learning in a different manner. Cuttin apart programs works for some, I won't argue with that point. ZuneApps could very well be a great programmer some day, but I don't think the cut now/ask questions later approach is working for him.
EDIT: Awe, doesn't support strikeouts, that's gay.
