We all know something is going to happen on December 11th, 2012 at 11:11 PM. Is it the rapture? Polar Shift? Colliding planets? Discuss.

Well see... first theres going to be this massive polar shift, and then this dude with a beard is going to come screaming about a rapture, until suddenly we see mars get hit with an asteriod and come plummeting toward earth, only to crash into a stray nuclear bomb in orbit which is going to cause a massive explosion that's engulfs the moon and is on it's way to earth when... it turns to 11:12 and we realize the mayans are long gone, and cannot in fact see the future.

The Mayans were a great civilization no doubt. But they were no more able to see the future than we are today. Unless the Predators were able to tell them...

Niburu is a fictional (probably) planet that is supposedly home to some aliens that came here to earth and colonized it, it has something to dowith the nephilim which i thought were angels, but idk its all really weird.......ill just stick to gospel

Haha, so true. Everybody will have all their panties in a bunch and people will pee their pants and cause panic. But then once everyone realizes that it's just Y2K all over again, life will resume as normal.

I agree with everyone that says absolutely nothing is going to happen. If something does happen it is just strange coincidence. Not to be cynical but the world could very well end before 2012, who knows? Lets hope not because I'll never get to turn 21 if it does (2013 I'll turn 21)

. My view on this whole debate is that the Mayans were around a VERY long time ago, and they had a guy that sat around and made calendars. He decided that after making the calendar for 2012 that that was probably far enough and that if they lived that far someone else could make more calendars. There had to be some point where there was enough calendars made up, 2012 was that point in time. Just my 2 cents.
