No more hate lists.

I think we should try cut down on the sudden increase on threads dedicated to hating people. It's gives out a pretty bad vibe, tensions rise and feelings get hurt. This should go for love lists too, it has the same effect when you say you like someone more. It's not a competition.

I certainly don't hate anyone here, but I think if someone wants to make an "I Hate _____" thread, (s)he should, as long as (s)he has substantial reasoning as to why (s)he "hates" that person. Of course, if one doesn't have a good reason to dislike another, well, that's just stupid. And if you see an "I Hate ______" thread about you, and there are nonbull**** reasons why, then you'll know there are errors in your ways, and you have to change things up a bit if you want to be liked. And if you don't care, then you don't care.

As for the love lists, of course one is going to like someone more than another. That's from some people doing more to be more likable than others, being kinder, more social, more helpful, ** cetera. It also comes from seniority, knowing someone longer. For instance, I'm definitely going to like Dragod or PoN or stkr or Cam or Greg more than that one guy that just joined up because I know them better than I know that other guy.

And, of course it's not a competition. If one has to compete to be in another's good graces, that's just pathetic.

isn't that a point of the flame board? to get our your frustration about people if you don't want them just remove the flame boards and delete topics that are hate topics that pop up else where

I don't see why people would want to post hate threads. We should all be mature enough to get over our differences. This is only an online community. You shouldn't hate someone in the first place and if you do they should have at least done something that warrants such an extreme dislike. I don't hate anyone on this planet, but there are people that I do not like. As far as this board goes, there are people that I do not understand. People can be irrational and nonsensical, but I'm not high and mighty enough to change the unchangeable so I do not worry about it. If someone cannot understand a logical standpoint then there is nothing else you can do. I can't say I do not like them because the only aspect of their personality and life that I know of is what they say in the forums. We could end up being best friends if we were forced to deal with each other (like in real life where you don't just make a hate thread and expect things to get any better).
