Since the recent ZB update, the loss of movies has seemed to leave this forum empty personally for me. My story as follows:

For every movie I downloaded from here I felt that I was leaching so I began to make 1 zune wallpaper for every movie I downloaded so I wasn't a total forum leach. But since there are no longer easy to access movies I feel no reason to create wallpapers in return for...nothing really. Sorry to all who liked my wallpapers. And to the administrators who made this decision, I look sadly at you for this decision. An unwise choice for the betterment of your forum traffic.

I have a forum of my own. An like yours it is leached by hungry internet users who don't care. I don't mind them, their traffic moves my site to number 2 on google. But on my site I don't stop them, I let them be and say meh what the hell. So if it's the leachers you don't want, good job. But my contributions no longer have fuel.

It has nothing to do with leechers, we don't mind leechers. As you said, they help the traffic. But this has actually been a choice that has been debated for several months, but it was finally the time to remove them and focus on making this site a community.

We're sad to see you go, and we hope you return, but it is entirely understandable.

Things these days are getting out of hand with the MPAA and the RIAA...the chances of prosecution on the website is through the roof.

There are hundreds of just as simple alternative sites for downloading illegal content, most of which are in different countries with different copyright laws.

I was honestly surprised when I heard about the movie downloads here. I am here for a community, not a download portal. I have several of those, all of which are more secure than this website was.

Sorry to see you go, but I wasn't sad to see the illegal downloads go, because in reality the whole forums could be taken down if things go wrong, and all of the information and great legal downloads would go too.

You must be the biggest dumbass on zB yet. May I ask what your forum topic is? If it is anything warez related, then why the hell are you on ZuneBoards for the downloads? Why not your site? If it isnt warez related, then thats a whole different story-- No matter how big your site gets, you wont run into any legal problems. Youre a 'webmaster' full of sh*t. Traffic does NOT move you at ALL in Google searches. It's the quality of the backlinks and how properly monetized the site is that matters.

Did you really think that this bullsh*t post would make me feel bad and change my mind to open the downloads again?

When I found this site it was for info on the zune to make it work better and how to fix the bugs I found that kept me coming back.
And I know how to get the other stuff if I need to, and this from a 52 year old guy with only a 9th grade education.

lol It would have been super sweet if it had though. You can't blame the guy for trying. His biggest mistake was not putting a link to his site on his sig. How else can I find another site to leech off of.

Anyway, I'm sorry you feel that way about not opening up the downloads again. You see... my granny is in the hospital and isn't feeling very well. We're very poor and couldn't afford to have the tv put on in her room. So I lent her my zune, the one I won off of some type of promotion thingy. Well every night I would take the Zune away before she went to bed and would go to the all night library to use their computer. See, I'm poor and don't have my own computer. So I would download the latest movies for her and some smooth jazz from the music section. Ever since the downloads were removed she's been having to watch the same old movie over and over again. Her spirit has suffered and she's really sad. She asks me every night to get her a new movie and some more music. I kiss her gently on the forehead and say yes granny, I will download them tonight. I always hope that the next day she forgets yet another promise that I sadly have to break. Why Mr. Admin man must you break my granny's heart?

Not reasonable at all to me. zB sucked as a warez site, there are much better downloads out there. I'm not here for the downloads, for the community rather.

I was one of the original members when ZB was first created on their old ass site before it got remodeled. I just rarely, rarely posted. One day I just came back here and I saw a notice on the home page saying that there would be no more warez. It didn't stop me from making more posts and threads the least bit. The only warez I liked (if any) was the programs that would convert DVDs and movies to WMV files. I'm not sorry to see the warez gone. I was wondering for a while why no one had gotten in trouble for hosting it anyways...
