Here's the direct link, however, in order to get the firmware on your zune, go into the zune program, right click on your zune's name, and select ''check for device updates'', unless it does so automatically. Enjoy!

Edit: *sigh*. no hope in site. I consider this update to be an insult.

It's kinda like MS is giving you the crumbs of the entire cookie.

This link serves no purpose except for hacking. It is available as a public service so that people can try to decompile the firmware or try to downgrade, or whatever. To upgrade, do not use these links

to update...just hook up your zune...it will ask you if you want to install 1.4.

I also was dissapointed...I saw 1.4, and thought "finally we have some more features being added"...but no....this is to speed up the zune, and do someother minor (good) things...just like the firmwares launched before it.

I'm pretty sure thatwhen they make the whole 'download directly to zune' thing public, it will be called firmware 2.0.

I'll be excited then... but not really...

I have 1.4 on my Zune...and I can say its a welcome improvment. I always use the shuffle, and its much faster now.....good job MS.

I wish they would get rid of the damn "3 days 3 plays" thing...My music isn't copyrighted...but if I send a song to a buddy...he only has a few days before is vanishes.....I Hate That.
