Anyway in a freak accident I won't go into details about, the screen was smashed. It put a hole in the glass and the LCD underneath. It still works like it always did, the screen is just permanently black, I reacted as though a close friend had died. The good news however, is I've ordered a new one.
NOW, the second part of my post. I just need to know is it possible to make use of my semi functional Zune. I want to know if it is POSSIBLE to convert the 120 into an external hard drive I have looked around forums and I can't get a straight answer. If it is possible, if you could send me a pm with a step by step instruction thing. I'm rather noob with hardware. Alternatively, if you are interested in repairing Zunes, maybe save a few bucks I'd consider to sell it privately for like 100 bucks or something. I just want to make the best of an awful awful situation.
