Sync Issues

Hi. Whenever I sync a CD with various artists to by Zune, it always puts the CD in a Various Artists folder, but it also creates new folders for each individual artist. Does anybody know how I can stop this from happening?

Also, when I make rearrange my music, like moving them between folders, the Zune program says that the device has it, but it doesn't. The device status screen says that it was changed but it actually wasn't. Does anybody have fixes for this? Thanks!

I plugged my zune in and it removed 50 songs of which i do not remember, When i add songs i delete them right after is their any way to recover them from the zune?

add songs to a playlist the zune?

1) ok i have a playlist on my zune called "viet songs". i wanna to add another song to that playlist on the zune directly. i tried dragging it to the playlist but it would not add. i don't want to copy the playlist to my collection, add the song there, and then sync the playlist back to the zune...is there a quicker way for me to do this or is that my only choice?!!!

2) also can i create playlists within playlist, like a tree structure? for example i have a general playlist called "viet songs". in it, i want to add playlists containing the name each individual artists, which in turn would contain the songs themselves. is this possible?

zsuite don't work for me and i do not want to downgrade so does anyone know any tricks for these two questions? thanksss...zune software blows ass btw

formated my zune now cant put firmware

ok my zune came up with an error saying ti needed to erase all contents to resume working. so i did the back +centre + left combo and formated it .

then pluged it into the pc and open zune (latest one) its just gives a Ms erro and end program now. so i managed to find a copy of 1.1 put it in and it find smy zune , so i thoguth yay, name it chriszune, click next , then next and it gets to sync options click next and then i get a box pop up
" it is not possible to change sync settings at this time . try again later"#

onmain page the page it shows the 'zune microsoft 149mb" but wont let me transfer etc. help please ???

is the firmware upgrade necessary?

i have got a 30gb zune which has the old firmware 1.1, i downloaded the zune software 4.0 and when i run it it's asking me to upgrade to 3.25 firmware but i dont want to upgrade the firmware as i have a dial up connection and i am not sure how long it will take to download and the update it.. is there any workaround for accessing my zune without upgrading the firmware???.. goddamn man why does a person having zune necessarily has to have a net connection also.. cant i just plugin to my pc and access it.. all this updates and stufss.. huff!!!.. please help me to access my zune without this upgrade thanks!!!

I used the key combos to format my 30gig zune.

but when i connects my zune to my PC, the zune software keeps showing "an unknow error occured". and can't update my firmware.

i used to format and update successfully...what's happenging now? does it have anything to do with the new software?

by the way, im using zune software 4.0.740.0 on windows vista. currently in China. and i have been trying to update the software, and restart my computer, which doesn't help...

What am i supposed to do? do i

Hi, I'm new to this site but have had a zune since 07, and I am having technical problems with a zune for the first time. After a few solid hours of research, I still haven't found a similar situation, so I'm hoping someone here can help.
I have a zune 30 gb that I recently bought used. A few nights ago, I was in the middle of using it when all of a sudden, it froze for a minute or two, then shut off and rebooted. However, when it rebooted, a screen telling me to connect it to my computer came up instead of the normal menu. After i plugged it in, I realized that my zune was in recovery mode. At first, my attempt to restore the firmware did not succeed, but every few attempts the progress bar reached a point a little bit farther along, and i eventually succeeded in restoring the firmware. The device worked great for a few minutes, and then, when i tryed to make a picutre my background, it froze. Now, it is working, but extremely slowly. It takes between five and ten minutes for a button press to register, if at all. So, i have been unable to wipe the firmware because holding the key combination which would normally do so does nothing. The device is functioning so poorly that it is unusable. Even the sync processes take forever. Thanks in advance for any help that you might give.

I can't connect with my Zune30

I have two Z30 (3.1 and 2.4).
I wont update firmware Z30 2.4 to 3.1 but i have a problem with connect - C00D11CD (80070057). In my computer 3.1 is works well but 2.4. I reset zune (back, left, middle), zune wants connect to pc and now i do not know what to do.

Hey, this is the first time I need help with my zune that I couldn't google to fix the problem... I have over 60,000 pictures in 10K folders that I am putting on my zune. well I have been at least. I got 3/6 of the folders on with no problems. but the last 3 folders aren't being added. I went to my collection right clicked and added 1 picture it synced fine. I tried it again with the one next to it, and it failed. and now they are not going on at all, it says their syncing and goes straight into the "Not added" section of my summery... also same thing with music!!! I have about 40 new songs to add. please help... thank you... also my stats are

30GB classic zune
Windows vista 64bit
latest updated version of zune software.

please assist... thank you <3

also I have done these instructions and removed and reinstalled the zune software. when I opened the software and put my zune back on, it synced 5 songs out of 40 and sent the rest to "not added" please help!!!

I hope I can find a solution to my problem. Need a method to recover songs from a Zune, that has lost it's main Host PC. Otherwise, I have to format the Zune and lose several GBs of tunes.

Two CDs, Being assumed as the same one

I have two different CDs, and Zune is assuming that they are the same CD, so when i try to rip the new CD, it puts in with the other one. I DON'T WANT THEM WITH EACH OTHER! I have tried editing the album information before ripping the new CD, but it just changes the infromation for the old one too and still puts them together. It's driving me CRAZY! Please, if anyone has a solution, i would love it.
