I just loaded this up and, while I didn't try the old one, this one is downright epic, and with tight graphics thanks to lordwin.
I'm surprised that the Zune's accelerometer can provide absolute rotation values - I was under the impression that it could only report axial acceleration, meaning that you'd have to zero it out at some position and integrate from there.
Could you possibly change the name from 'ZuneLevel' to just 'Level' or something, please? It bugs me when thing have a 'z' or a 'Zune' in front of the application name.

Agreed - even if only for the sake of consistency with the title.
Also, a high res thumbnail is needed; note that the MS games now use 240x240 JPEGs instead of 48x48 PNGs.
Looks pretty good. Maybe you and lordwin can add a few functions to it. Like saving the angles, time of day, timestamp, etc.
Our allow for a project option where the angles of a given project can be saved on the device and when you are building the project, the apps allowed to review the angles on the device screen in a spreesheet way.

edit..
i managed to extract your game and get the source
and it could be you setting the strings in the update method
but its more likely from your draw code, its hard to know without being able to hand test it (i dont want to take the time to fully hack it)

How did you determine whether it has a memory leak? Did you use the Remote Performance Monitor, or something else?
