SkyDrive is Microsoft's free online cloud storage. They give everyone with a live ID (which your Zune Tag is linked to, so you should have one) 25 gb free online storage. Skydrive
Thanks to Locke, I was able to compress these files much better. Each of the types lost 50 MB. I'm debating whether I should re-instate the full package now that it's 50 meg smaller, and may fit on some hosting sites
The main problem with SkyDrive is that you have to log in with your Live ID to download anything from it. However, the vast majority of people here probably have them (anybody with a Zune social account, XBL account, MSN Messenger, or Hotmail already has one).
i downloaded it and extracted it with winrar on my desktop.. and when i looked in the folder the games looked like they were in there.. but when i tried to open them in Microsoft visual #C 2008 express edition.. the folders look empty but when i look in the folder on my desktop they were in there.. but they dont show in the folder when i open a project in microsoft visual?
Great job, It was really annoying to have to download each game individually. Unfortunately, the second package with all games/apps, when extracted it showed only half of the games and half of the apps. I'll try downloading the complete package now.
Bolt I was wondering if you could answer my question from earlier. How would be the best way for us to get games that come out after downloading the package, without redownloading the whole thing again? Would it be possible to create an updater or something? Or just post updates on the main post in this thread?

Well, you can either download the whole package or just get the updates from the topics, I don't see anything else being even remotely feasible. There's always some collaborative software like Microsoft Groove, but that's not exactly common enough to use (it costs money).

I don't think he was talking about anything related to MS Groove - he wants an autoupdater, kinda like Steam for the Zune.
Something like that could be implemented, but it would be a lot of work for questionable gain.
Ok then. Would it be any trouble to just put in like a little sentence something like:
UPDATES:
(game name) 12/31/08 - Added to package. Standalone Game Link
Or should I just go to the other stickied thread, the list of games one.
