Maybe i am an idiot, but i am having troubles. I downloaded the zune hero, form the link that was provided, then i extracted the files with 7-zip but when i do that the files are extracted as files that i can not open because it does not know what program to use. If i try to open before i extract it come up with a error message that says (Error 2160: The packaged game requires a runtime that is not recognized bu this version of XnaPack. Anewer versio of XnaPack may be required to unoack this game, or the packafe may be invalid.) What do i need to do? This happens with all the games i have tried.

i have vista and this is for xp but it wont cause any major problems will it i think its compatible with vista correct me if i am wrong

i ran it as xp sp2 in properties just in case and it was fine for a couple of seconds then it said
Service Pack 2 installation did not complete

Try running as admin. Do your parents (assuming you live at home) have a restriction? If so, have them help you. If not, right-click the file, do 'run as admin'
i am admin in my pc and i can contoll anything i want i ran internet explorer as admin and still got that error or what do you want me to run as admin-----what file?

does this mess up the warranty on the zune or screw with anything that cant be fixed?
am pretty sure it wont i mean all your doing is adding some applications to the hardware but dont take my advice am not a profezional at this am still a squirt wait for timtacious or locke to answer
It's fine. The new XNA was made to put games on zune. Considering you download XNA from Microsoft's website, they're fine with you doing it. They even featured Valgard's Fate at one of their seminars
whenever i try to open a game C# 2008 express or whatever it says it cannot open the file because .csproj is not a compatible file type or something and it says download a version that can open it, so i have to ask WTF do i do, i followed the whole tutorial
Maybe, I'd have to look. I'm really no expert though. If you want to do the remote desktop thing, you'd probably need the same computer system. What do you have? (XP, Vista, etc) I have Vista.
