Description:
Xmonster is a game that you have to save the people that are going to be eaten by the Xmonster. The monster gets smarter and develops new tactics to take you down. You must save the people without letting the monster eat them, or eating you! Can you fulfil the Role? Can you Survive the Pressure? There is only one way to find out!

Download Xmonster 2.31:

You must have XNA Game Studio 3.0(newest version, Oct 30th) to install this game... just double click on the xmonster.ccgame file.

Yeap confirms it works on the zune 120 w/ 3.0. The touch support is really good.

Thankyou... I'm glad that it works.... The game runs EXTREMELY faster in 3.0, so I'm going to have to make the game get harder faster. I will come out with the update in the next week or so.... but, it is still fun to play. It just gets more difficult at a slower rate. They really improved the touch controls.

I love this game i play it all the time in fact its realy the only game i play cause some of the others control are not as good. I hope you continue making games.

kool game man i was hessitant to download at first but im glad i did...it'd be even better if u could pick ur song in the game tho...

Thanks very much. I'm glad it is a fun game. I spent hours trying to perfect the movement. It was a lot of trial and error until I got it flawless. I plan on continueing to make games... right now I'm working on checkers.

Thanks.... I may add song support in the future... but until then... you can start your music before you enter the game. It will continue to play.

Follow these instructions to put games on the Zune. Just pretend that it says Xmonster everywhere it says SIR TET (though you really should install SIR TET too

).

Just add a menu option that will bring up the Zune guide. It's quick and painless (and kind of a cop-out) but a heck of a lot better than nothing. It's all I ended up doing in minesweeper.

I havn't tried to use the Zune guide... But, that's a great Idea... I'll see what I can do. The zune guide is what the Hexic and Texas hold em uses, correct?

I tied Guide.Show() to a menu item.... but when I click it, It throws: The guide already visible... and crashes.... It displays the battery icon at the bottom of the screen before it crashes.

[EDIT]I had to make it not call Guide.Show() again before it had time to load and exit. I had to make it skip that if statement a second time. So, it is working now.

How Would I add an option to shuffle the playlist that is currently playing? There is a shuffle all... but I just want to turn shuffle on... so when I select a playlist it shuffles it.

You're probably doing something like calling Guide.Show every Update cycle. Make sure you latch it once you show the Guide for the first time.

Xmonster has been updated to v2.3. The new features include MUSIC SUPPORT. You can now change your zune volume and listen to music while playing Xmonster! Some minor adjustments have been made to the menu.
