Description / Instructions / Anything you want to say:
This is the first release of a line of retro games I am working on. This release contains Solo Pong (not retro) and Snake.

Solo Pong is a modified pong game that involves moving the paddles to keep the ball within the limits of the screen. The left and right buttons move the top and bottom paddles. Left moves the top paddle left and the bottom paddle right. The right button is exactly the opposite. The up button moves the left paddle up and the right paddle down and again the down button is exactly opposite.

Snake is a normal snake game where you use the buttons to move the snake around the screen and try to eat the food.

It is a good start. The Solo Pong takes a little getting used to. Snake is pretty decent. Great job so far, and welcome to Zune Boards

can't wait to see more.

oh and one thing, in snake i'm pretty sure when you hit the walls you're suppose to die and not just like teleport to the other side of the screen. that's at least how i remember it.

Well...there are different versions of snake and the one where you hit the wall and die is the orginal. The teleporting snake is a modified version. As I have played both before I am not sure if this is a mistake or just the modified version of snake. But it is in beta.

my guess is it's the modified version of snake but the game title is "arcade classics" so he should prob have the classic on, on there

I plan in the next release to improve the graphics on both games, and hopefully add saving. I need to make the code more object-oriented, and then I will release more versions of snake. I will add the original, and the version in which there are walls that you must avoid. Arcade Classics is just a generalization. It will not only have classic games, just classic themed games. (Solo Pong is a game I made up. There is nothing classic about it.) I am hoping to also have the original pong in this game, and a space invaders type game.

(If anyone has suggestions on which image uploading site to use, they would be appreciated)

The way that it is two games in one solution you could make a game browser.

I knew about photobucket, and like sites, I just didn't know which site was best, and the main menu of this game will be like a game browser.

oh ok, well i use photobucket and it seems to work fine. wasn't trying to call you stupid or anything...

This is cool but these arent really Arcade Classic, more like Atari Classics.

Arcade classics would be like bust-a-move, metal slug, galaga, etc..

snake and pong were arcade classics, just the really really old arcades like the very first ones.
