Default Feedback?


Surely more people have feedback on what they would like to see improved or added. I want to make this a high quality game so don't be afraid to give suggestions.

I think it'd be nice if you had a menu before the game started, so when people joined they could switch between each side, then once ready press play again or w/e to fully join the fray. me and my friend found team choosing a bit confusing.

and yes shadow is gonna be in it along with, sonic, tails, knuckles, amy, rouge, cream, robotnik. and maybe others along the way

I wasn't actually able to play the game due to the fact that I only have one Zune, but I have a few suggestions.

A more complex map design would best suit the gameplay. I play all the Halo's, and of course the maps can't be *that* complex. But maybe add some walls, pathways, etc.

I saw that you mentioned that the player can go invisible at a button press, or could speed up. Why not have these abilities as power-ups on the map that the player can make a rush for?

It's shaping up really nicely, so keep up the great work.

Edit: I made a very (very) basic map layout to help explain my suggestions:



The dark blue circle is the Flag Capture goal, while the red flag is of course the objective. The light blue square in the middle is the invisibility power-up, or whatever attributes you wish for it to have.

I would love to have a Single Player because I don't know anyone with a Zune and my Wi-Fi isn't working right now.

The Wi-Fi part is irrelevant. Wi-Fi doesnt work with XNA, which is why we can't have a browser.

WiFi does work with XNA - in an extremely limited capacity and only for multiplayer games.

Ad-hoc is WiFi.
