Description / Instructions:

Play the first 3D-ish game for the Zune!

The game uses a modified RaycasterX engine (originally created by Nick Gravelyn (SimReality)).

This Update provides 10 Levels.
In addition to that, the monsters behaviour changed a bit. They will now turn into crossroads, too. Before they only changed direction when they ran into a wall.
Fixed some smaller bugs, too.

Find all goldbars in a level to open the door to the next level.
Don't let the gazers get you! It's their gold and they'll kill you!

Press Play button when you are prompted to.
Use DPad to walk through the maze.

Please play with headset on... the sound is part of the atmosphere.

Download GoldChase (RIG):

RIG allows you to deploy without using Visual C# and XNA. You must already have deployed a game to your Zune in order to use RIG.
The installer works for 64Bit operation systems, too!

I like it, Dirk! A bit hard, but I'll get it sooner or later. It's got a pretty creepy soundtrack, and those monsters are pretty scary. 10/10 imo! love it.+rep

Awesome game!

My only suggestions as of now would be to possibly make the game a bit brighter. I had a bit of a hard time seeing the path because it was so dark. Also the "Press play to start" text get's cut off by the Zune 8 screen. I'm not sure if this is because of the smaller screen or what.

When you get all the gold bags for a certain level does it automatically take you to the next level?

This is a great game! I think the graphics are great. Awesome work!

EDIT:

I love the sound effects! They are awesome

Its a little too dark, and its hard to see the corridors sometimes because of it.

Awesome game, though. Props.
