Ok the new zune solitaire works great! but for some reason today when i exit the solitaire and the zune restarts, the zune froze at the restart screen... so i just let the battery die and hopefully everything is fine. I dont know if this is just a glitch or if anyone else had the same problem then i think it's the software problem... but i'll update the news after my zune recharges and see what happens.

I don't think it could have anything to do with the Solitaire, since it does a hard reset and anything that Solitaire has in the memory is cleared.

I'm not sure if anyone else got this problem.
But when I do a search thru my music cateragories, once I reach a certain point, the Zune restarts.
I've tried reloading the game but the same thing happens everytime.

You have songs that have non-standard ASCII characters in them... Fix the titles of any songs that have anything other than the normal alphabet, numbers, and normal symbols. (Get rid of pretty much anything that you can't find on an English keyboard.

It's not when I search thru the actual songs......but when I search thru
Category:
<Artist>
<Album>
can't get past album....
if i go in the opposite direction first i can get.... <Random>
<Song Name>
So whatever the problem is, it's the cateragory/s between Album & Song Name
Here's what comes up when I did a debug...
An unhandled exception of type 'System.IndexOutOfRangeException' occurred in Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll
Additional information: This parameter must be a valid index within the array.
P.S.
I never had any problems with the game till the new update.

New version: 2.4. The only thing different is a little part of the music menu, which will hopefully fix a problem that could cause it to crash. (The issue that the_guillotine is having.)
An update on the future of Zune Solitaire:
Improvements to come:
-Option to shuffle music according to category as opposed to only being able to shuffle all music.
-Win/lose statistics.
-Fixing any current bugs/glitches that arise.
These may be done in a week, a month, or more. Don't ask how long it will take. If you have a problem, post what it is, and if it's simple, I will fix it quickly, otherwise I will fix it whenever I have time to do so.
Right now I am starting to make Block Dude, so that will take up most of my free time.

ok. Music playback after version 2.2 is broken. it keeps repeating the same song over and over. it happens with any playback option: artist, album, song, playlist, etc.
I dont know what you did but it was working before. Please, review it a fix it. thanks.

I have a problem; not sure if it's just my Zune, however when I play games, occasionally the touch pad is a bit buggy and locks up while playing for about 10 seconds. (but the timer in solitaire still runs)
Is this a problem with my Zune? or is this normal?

I had repeating set to true, so it would repeat playing what is in the queue, which is almost always a single song. The Random option is not affected, since it puts all of the songs in the queue.
Another problem that I just found was that when the Stop Song option is selected, it would change the current song to the first for each Artist, Album, Genre, etc.
Both are now fixed and the update is posted.
Next time, please report any problems correctly. Your problem did not occur when Random was selected, yet you said it happens with any playback option. It is not as trite as it seems. Knowing exactly what the problem is allows it to be fixed more efficiently.
megamojo2001, No one has anything similar so far. Unless your touch pad isn't recognizing the d-pad buttons correctly, the problem shouldn't be with your touch pad. Solitaire only uses the d-pad button part of the touch pad.

Ok thanks a lot for the info and the game. I have been waiting a long while for a fully working solitaire game. Glad somebody had the time to make it. Appreciate your work.

OK. Thanks. I was not trying to be hard on you. but the feature was working before just dont add minor features that can break your excellent code.

Cool. I was hoping it would, but I wasn't sure. I figured you didn't have any playlists with songs (or at least no songs in the default playlist), which caused it to crash when it tried play a song from the first playlist available. I had songs in my playlist, so I didn't come across that problem when I was testing it.
