Warning 1 The variable 'e' is declared but never used
Warning 2 The field 'Squadron_Z.Game1.player2' is never used
Warning 3 The field 'Squadron_Z.Game1.uppressed' is never used
Warning 4 The field 'Squadron_Z.Game1.downpressed' is never used
Warning 5 The field 'Squadron_Z.Game1.leftpressed' is never used
Warning 6 The field 'Squadron_Z.Game1.rightpressed' is never used

Those are warnings, not errors. You can safely ignore them. Basically, there's some functionality that I haven't implemented yet but have those variables to make it easier once I do. The game will still deploy and function perfectly

New version is up.
Added:
Graphics for stars look better(they are smaller if they are farther away, i.e. move slower)
Added a score to the top so you can see how far you've gotten
Added a high score to the top that keeps track of the highest score
you've gotten so far total
You now can get hit 10 times instead of just 3 before dying
Enemies now get harder as time goes on(but you get more points for killing
them!)

alright, very slightly new version up. I just made the enemy shots easier to see. They're pretty easy to see now so I'll probably leave them as they are now unless there's a public outcry
(Edit: Oh ya, I added a game over screen too )

I suggest adding a release number.
For instance name this version that your on
0.25
Cause you have done some improvements.
That way when you put a new link up people don't have to search though the posts to see if they have the current version.

That'll be the last one for the day, 0.75 is up. I added a music menu where you can choose what music to play by artist, playlist or album, and whether or not to shuffle. As always, link is on the first post.

Still you need to add and refine this game....
- sometimes while playing there isnt any wave of ships coming
- it is hard to hit the ships
- enemy ships and shots follow the same linear pattern
- the graphics looks fine but I think you can improve it a bit more
- the explosions are cool but can you add sound for those booms ?
- the GUI needs improvements. You are using ZuneBlade. Use it to its full extent
Take this recommendations from someone that wants this game improved.

Ok so I really like this game I'm really excited about the final release. I'm sure you might have considered some of these things but I would like:
-More enemies
-Levels(nothing complicated)
-Boss Battles(maybe like three)
and then after you beat the bosses the game will cycle through all the enemies so you could rack up a high score. Or something along those lines. I really like the gameplay and graphics(especially the explosions) so keep it up and I'm still looking foward to final even if you don't include any of those things.

-More enemies + levels: ya, I've been thinking about having the amount of enemies increase over time... just not sure how to do it yet without ending up with bajillions of enemies after a while. For levels, I have thought of that, just not sure what they would constitute(maybe different enemies?)
-Boss Battles: definitely gonna be in there eventually, been meaning to add it to the future features list.
aside from that, I'll be working on laser upgrades and maybe some other ones and probable graphics improvements as time goes on.
Thank you everyone for the feedback!

New version is up on the first post. I added lots of stuff(mostly from what you guys were asking for). Graphics are blowing me away at this point, so unless someone can make better pictures for the ships(must have transparent background) I think it's good enough graphically. Next job is to add lazers and try to work on the speed since it's starting to get into bad frame rates when you get really far. Just an interesting stat: I kept track of the maximum particles(explosion and smoke trail particles) on the screen at once and it turned out to have about 800 for the brief test I did .

How many fps were you getting at that point ?
I think that is a good number of particles for the zune device. Good job, anyway.
