it's pretty awesome but i still think it's far too difficult, i dislike that when you jump you pass through parts of the floor where the above plant rapes you.. even if it's necessary =(

Zuneshine is a work-in-progress remake of the Internet flash game Boomshine. It's an ideal game to play on the Zune - one-handed, music based.

I'm working on a *very, very* faithful Pac Man remake at the moment so Zuneshine is shelved. Also, I'm planning to release another Manic Miner update in the next week or so - there's a few things that need fixing up.

Thanks to all for their input on Manic Miner (it was a beta after all). I think the wish list is something like:

- More lives by default (up from 3 to 5)
- Increment score based on how much air is left when you complete the level
- Fix the switches in the Kong level (sorry 'bout that)
- Add a new zoom level (0.75%) to make it more playable on the Zune 4/8
- Don't scroll too far left or right when zoomed in so you can see more of the level: especially a problem on Eugene's Lair
- Level skip (though this may set your score to zero!)

Subsequent release will get sound fx.

Anyone have any suggestions? Now's your chance.

Johny - sorry about that. I was looking at the Windows / Xbox 360 version. The switches don't appear on the Zune version - it's a bug but easy to fix.

Here's a video of levels 1 - 5. Thats as far as I can get so far. (without lowering the extra man score anyway)

I tried the level change thing but I changed it back because it wouldnt let me zoom in.

Very Nice! Not the greatest game, but i love it just for the flipable screen.
Many game will be MUCH better with this feature. GOOD WORK!

I can remember a level skipping hack on the old spectrum. You could skip levels, from memory the game must have had over 20 levels.

if you leave it at the main menu of manic miner it will show all the levels, I think there were 21 or so...

really awesome game, I have only made it to level three, this is by far the most challenging game on the zune (so far). So if you are easily frustrated this isn't for you, some sound would be nice and it would also be great if the starting size of the screen actually filled it. These are minor things and for the most part the game is perfect and in my opinion just about finished. Also the graphics are amazing for a zune game.

*update* I can now beat levels 1-4 without losing any lives. I always die on level 5 though

This game is probably 1 of the top 5. To bad I can only get to level 3. You should add something to make it a bit less difficult. For example you get a life for every level you pass.
I would appreciate if you added that. Thanks for the game though...

When you fall from the top top to the brick. Go over the monster on the left. Its easier
