a screenshot of your screen while you try to deploy showing error messages and whatnot may help, or you could tell me everything the computer tells you when you attempt to deploy.. Without that, your guess is as good as mine.

before I posted this in a thread, I was just doing it as a joke, spawned by a comment by Superaison in the Shoutbox stating that "What if we made a zune game like the etch a sketch" and I just did it to show it is possible. Now people are crazy about it. I have no problem with that, I'm just shocked how much people love something as simple as this. I'm also surprised how many people are whining about a project which is posted as being in an Alpha (pre-Beta) state.. It's not like I'd suggest downloading anything pre-beta unless you're an avid computer user.

Every time I download this and try to unzip it, WinRAR tells me there's no archive in it. I've tried both the RAR and the zip, and neither works. Anyone have any tips?

in some later release I may alter the code to include paint application features, but as of right now, doing that feels as if it's beyond me. I'm working on other things at the moment, and to add something like that will take time and much effort. Time is something I have little of.

I just mentioned that in this post, the zClock project some other person made, before everyone knew about Tiptup's zbClock, was the basis of this project, I needed a sprite, and I knew that one already had an existing full size sprite. zClock used Collapse as a basis for its code. so now you know.

But if you changed Cave.png (in the content folder) to a picture of say...
A dog. And you zSketched it clean then the picture of the dog would show up. am I right?

I can only suggest one thing, clear your internet cache and clear your cookies and whatnot, then try to download the files again... other than that, I don't know how that could happen.

(thanks ljtj28 for the new link to the .RAR and screenshots, I hadn't been able to get back on the computer I built the code onto since I posted this thread initially.)

Also: known issues so far: There is a bug when you load the game. Your Zune will likely flicker at the load screen. If you just click the play/pause (or center 'A' ) button then start moving the touch pad to the left and right(or up and down) it will load the game. (thanks again ljt28.)

White Background? Of course.


Now if you want it to have the screen be white and you etch out a picture in the background you'll have to talk to umisguy (creator of the game)

due to the only Zune I have being a 30GB, you can be pretty certain that any program I work on for the zune would support the 30GB zune.

change all instances of: device.Clear(Color.Black);
with: device.Clear(Color.White);
