I am noticing a bit of a glitch I think. Don't you have to have 4, like, in a row? As in straight line? Because In the bottem left corner I had a stack of 3, then 2, then 1, side by side, and it said I won...
this is connect 4 man u win any way as long as the line is connected

This was a bug in the initial release Jomael. You were able to win with 3 chips connected in certain situations... so the post is valid, but a bit out of date...
One thing that I have noticed on Gen 2 Zunes, is when you have two fingers on the control pad it can sometimes mess things up. It isn't only with this game either. I'm not sure if you can fix it or not. This is how to reproduce it...
Start '4 To Win' --> start game Player vs Zune --> using left hand thumb to move to the left, keeping that thumb on the pad, use the right hand thumb to move to the right. The problem is that the chip will move to the left due to the left thumb which is just resting on the touch pad.
Okay, so I just tried the new version. New main menu background looks awesome. I love how it doesn't kick me off if I lose.
Bug - after I lost at round 6, it was like the AI restarted. I was able to beat it like level 1 and it didn't seem to get smarter over the next 3 rounds (round 9).
Slowness. At round 6, it took a lot longer for the zune to make her first move and general slowness in the rest of the moves verses level 1-3 where every move was instant. I'm assuming that it is the AI which processes even on turn 1. With the bug mentioned above, the Zune still took a while to make it's moves, especially the first one, even though it was obvious that there was no AI.
Im trying to beat this game but it is hard and the issue gets worse since this is the first time in my 30 years playing a Connect 4 type of game. So, I have a request to made: DiNo, can you add a media playback and control feature like the one done by itsnotabigtruck on his SirTet Tetris-clone ?
This will help me in beating this game and if I lose ...the music will be my consolation.
Thanks.

I'm currently at level 8, and I just had to wait more than 2 minutes for the computer to finish thinking, and now it has been nearly five minuets and it still hasn't made it's move yet. I think you should add a time limit or something 'cause it is getting really annoying.
Yes, I will limit the smartness level. I guess in the end the computer does not get better but only slower. But right now I am working on Valgards fate. I hope I find some time to do the little fixed to 4ToWin the next days.
i'm using the latest version and when i'm playing against the zune, if i place my first piece right in the middle, i will always win the game because the cpu will always place his on top of mine. Not sure if this bug had been mentioned, but it works everytime, as long as my first piece is placed in the middle and my next placed on either side.
I know that this is a bug for the first 3 levels. But it should not work in further level "anytime". The levels 3+ have a random "chance" that the CPU acts like in a lower level. I added this behaviour to make the higher levels easier. But as a result I get more and more posts about "bugs" now. I guess I will completely delete the level mechanism. I will put smartness to level 4 and thats it. Level 1-3 are nonsense and everything higher lvl 4 does not bring benefit. As a result the game will be a bit hard. But hopefully I have WLan matches ready in the next version.
