Doh! This is my bad umisguy.. I haven't played jewels for so long I forgot that it takes 3! jewels..not 2! aaaargh! lol. It works fine..in fact..great! thanks so much for this release.. I'm already playing it and loving it!
After some extensive work by both umisguy and I, we finally have together created an acceptable alpha release of one of our latest projects, zJewels. Based upon the popular matching game Bejeweled by PopCap games, you need to match 3 or more jewels in a row. Currently, we have almost everything working, but we still need to finish:
-Fix the splash screen logo/stretching issues
-Get the sounds working
Otherwise, this thing is a fully featured alpha release of our latest creation. Please leave any feedback (including possible bugs) in your replies.
So.. I played it for a while and I am already hooked. Here's the only bugs that I see that need to be fixed:
1) Exit game option. Just gives me the paused or Click here to start. No way out except to backspace up to restart the game.
2) I encountered this several times -> No more moves when there was moves to be made! oh that's so frustrating..I was over 2000 points then it gave me this message..ugh!

2) That's your eyes playing tricks on you, there WERE no more moves, but I rewrote some of the code to restart the game when you run out of moves (I did this to appease the people temporarily until the new menu includes a "restart game" feature) and for some reason it continues to say that it has no more moves left until you move a set of jewels together to make some points... Once you've made the first points in the beginning of the first level after the auto-restart, the "No More Moves" pop up will go away. As I said, this is only temporary until the menu is complete and supports a restart feature, as well as a exit game feature.. This isn't even Beta release yet, so bear with us on this, and be patient, because we aren't being payed for this and am only doing it on our spare time. We have lives too. just please understand this and we will have a new version up soon. Thanks for the mention of bugs, but we were already aware of those. I appreciate all the feedback everyone has given us.

When I built it, there were like 9 warnings or something... Does it work fine with the 30gb version?
it should work with the Zune 30. Look above the pictures of the game in a white Zune 30.
Delete the game from your Zune and deploy again.
Can you post pictures of the game in your Zune ?

I didn't bother to circle any of the moves, because I have about 10.
Oh, I'm also having a problem exiting the game. Is there any way to exit it besides reseting the Zune? Thank you!
THE MOMENT it says no more moves, before you even click anything, it rescrambles the jewels instantly, AS I said before, you can't take a screen shot of it unless you happen to take it less than 3 milliseconds after it goes to the "game over" mode.. I set a game restart code right in the middle of the game over code in order to bypass the fact that when you run out of moves, it leaves you without anything to do except restart your zune. The best way to exit (until the menu is implemented is to hold the back button down for a few seconds and release.)
I know you guys have a lot going on, but I can't get the game to load to my zune.
I get the message, "Blue highway font not found"
You need to install the included font in "C:\Windows\Fonts" then restart Visual C#

Inside the download, you'll find font files for all needed fonts to deploy this game, follow the directions Marshillboy mentioned, and all will work fine.
