it shows that you have a good detection system in the works, but hte note generation system is kinda odd. Instead try basing it of the note frequency and such so that notes fall into patterns liek music does. Also the button imput is slightly odd and lags a small amount. Antoehr thing to think about adding later on could possibly be support for playlists so that you can do "nonstop modes" and possible intensity options. like easy for those jsut starting, hard for those more experienced, and difficult for those experts out there. Plus with the detection system you guys have going, you could easily turn this into a DDR clone. Now that woudl make you famouse.

I downloaded the newest version, did you change the controls? I liked the controls in the previous version, these new controls work like GW3's previous versions controls. With this game it does the same thing GW3 does where sometimes you can only go up right and down and can't go left etc. Is anyone else having this problem?
1) I really hate the virtualization design. It looks so cheesy, like something from 10 years ago. Virtualization design like the ones in WMP would be awesome. It would be even better if the game allows for a bunch of virtualization that you can choose from.
Well, I have to say this... it's a zune...the visualizer already gobbles up tons of resources... it's not like it's a huge part of the game... it's just for a nice look on the starting menu... complaining because it's obsolete is pointless, seeing as we are working with hardware that was on computers years and years ago.

This game is pretty basic right now, but I can see this ending up being a great game. People have said that the notes should fall to the rhythm or beat of the music. I'm not sure if they mean falling, but i think that you should CATCH them to the rhythm/beat of the song. Also, is it possible to pick whatever song you want?

Sorry to suggest this... But i think blocks should fall in 4 - 5 different places.
Then when they cross a certain point (For instance a see though circle and the falling circle falls behind it...) You press the button that goes with that spot ya know? Kinda like another game we know that can't be named because of copyright.
Ok, i just want to mention what we have working so far. The notes spawn with the beat now (the frequency of the music, even though it might not seem like it does, it really does, trust me.) And the notes only spawn in 5 locations, not randomly across the top. There are not any plans to make this game like a DDR, but maybe some other game (with some minor code changes) will be. Also, the score is now based on notes collected, not time elapsed like previously. And the +10 points powerup is to be changed into a life.

wow, you did more than i thought then.. i had it at frequency so there was no chance of negative numbers and exceptions getting thrown... but as long as it works alright.

I was slightly dissapointed. Maybe because I had hoped for a GH/Phaze type game. This game does sem to have some potential, but the rythym and graphics need serious work. I am however hopeful that you guys can make something good out of it.
time for some hype building! Link managed to get the beats to fall with the song and it FREAKIN ROCKS! There is also difficulty settings. Hard is so hard! I suck at it. Expect a release once we polish it up.
It doesn't completely seem like the notes spawn with the music, but they do. If you listen to too calm of music, nothing will hardly spawn at all, and when it gets faster and more intense the notes start falling.
