ok, try this... delete it from your zune. delete the folder you extracted it to. re extract it. open it and try again. I don't think i posted this already, if i did and it didn't work i'm sorry. I really don't know why only some people are having problmes, makes it harder to fix.

Alright here's Beta 2. Click here to download it!

It's fixed! Nearly no lag and some gameplay enhancements. You can change songs in the main menu now to get the song you want. Like I said before, don't expect anymore releases for a while.

@LINK yea that was the first thing i already tried a couple days ago. or yesterday whichever day i originally posted it didnt work ( stupid night shift screws up my sense of what day it is lol) ill try with beta 2 and repost with my outcome hopefully it will be good

EDIT: Nope still doesnt work. anyone have any ideas why? maybe some settings or something. Im using a z80 wifi off, touch on, backlight =15s bright=medium.

FederalBmx, you could try deleting all games, another game (rockrain sd possibly if you have it) might be causing this, either try deleting rockraid sd if you have it, or if you dont, delete all your games and just install that first.

The newest version is definitely better. And yay, the help file is updated (haha).

I actually played it for a little while and I'm keeping this version on my Zune. Thanks! (High Score: 230)

I made sure rock rain does not cause this, so that's not the problem.

hrm... I didnt really get this game... Are the notes in sync with the music? If not, make it so, kinda likes guitar hero

I'm not sure if this has been changed in the new version, but I'm still not quite sure what the premise of this game is. It seems as though I'm just catching rocks; it could just be rock rain with a different object. What does music have to do with it, besides it stops playing if you don't catch 3 "notes"?

yea i dont have rock rain anyway. i have sirtet pong and a couple others but thats about it. i guess ill delete them all and try that tommorrow when i wake up

The most important thing that this game needs is to have the notes in sync with the music.

i am working on that right now. I actually should be pretty close, but it needs a few tweaks. Look for it in the next version.

1) I really hate the virtualization design. It looks so cheesy, like something from 10 years ago. Virtualization design like the ones in WMP would be awesome. It would be even better if the game allows for a bunch of virtualization that you can choose from.

2) I really hate the music note thing that drops from the top. A solid non-animate thing would take less CPU power and achieve the same thing since not a lot of people look at the rotating music thing when they're playing anyways.

3) I know you're working on syncronizing the musical beats to the dropping music notes thing. But a great change could be like making the music notes drop in 4 columes for zune 30 and 4-8 columes for zune 4, 8, 80.

It's sort of like Dance dance revolution (DDR) or Tyco ( a rythme game for psp or Nintindo DS). The arrow keys or w/e design you want to choose correspond to each directional buttons on zune 30 and a swipe to w/e direction on zune 4, 8, 80.

3) The menu needs a little bit of reworking. You can probably use the "zuneblade" menu design to save you a lot of work and make the main menu look "cooler".

thanks for the suggestions, but lots of those are more useless criticisms than suggestions. It'll be a while before anyone makes a better viz. The note is just aesthetics. Maybe it's our choice how we want the menu. We don't need anything fancy.

And now for two massive points that if you did the slightest amount of research you would know.

1. THIS IS A SUPERMEGA PRE-BETA! It was released just for fun, really.

2. The game is basically a concept game until we develop it further.

Have a nice day and learn constructive criticism. We aren't all super computer geniuses with unlimited free time.

Does it work with the 30 gig zune? I haven't had a chance to buy an 80 yet.

Oh wait . the Screen si from a 30 gig. NVM. But it's an interesting concept. It works decently well. Of course some ultra coolness would be making it into a DDR like game. press the button at the right time for hte right direfction and boom! plus you could add in a center butto nfor fun. Also the not generation is TOTALLY random. have yo uthoguht of using a rendomization engien based off of the pitch of hte note and timing of htem? that way it would also do off notes, liek eigth and sixteenthes. So far it most did really random stuff.

Jsut some thoguhts for future Dev. Some other notes: Works well, notes are to random. catching them proves that yo uhave a good engine in the works. Button input seems laggy. Timing is often off from the music. Could have support for playlists.

Well there's my thoguhts and ideas.
