I did not ChrisV1 for a couple reasons, the pause menu background I want to keep semi transparent so that people can see where there ball is and what blocks are left, so it would be a bit easier. The block graphics i would like to keep a somewhat newish and rounder look, yours give me a somewhat older looking square look.
What i was thinking is that I will include an option to go from futuristic/newer look or an arcadish/older look, so if you want when i release my newer version(since it has more images) change them into a retro look and when i include the option i will include those graphics.

Noobtube, no more than 30 more minutes, i have almost everything how I want it, im just going to make a couple levels

-[V. 0.0.8]
--2 new blocks added
----Silver, takes 2 hits to destroy (Number 4 when designing a level)
----Dark Grey, you are not able to destroy it at all(acts like a wall)(Number 5 when designing a level)
--Paddle collision detection improved more, paddle size in height decreased
--Level Selection is included
--I have had my ball get stuck in between the dark grey blocks so if that happens to you press down on the DPad and it will get unstuck
--Right side boundary fixed
--Random Levels now have a "difficulty" level
----Levels 1-2 have only red,green,blue
----Levels 3-4 have red,green,blue,and silver
----Levels 5 and beyond have red, green, blue, silver, and dark grey
--Some other minor things were improved that i cant remember lol
--Note: There are in my code commented out parts that are for powerups, please do not try to uncomment them as you will get many errors and nothing will work!

i have uploaded 0.0.8 to filefront for now, until my server is back up
Lol, as soon as i made this post my server came back up
V. 0.0.8
Rar Zip

Just in case it goes down again i will leave the links to filefront but to save you guys the hassle i suggest downloading from my server
Rar Zip

Also for now im done with zBreak for a couple days, unless its to fix a small error, ive been working on this for the past several day for at least 4 hours everytime i sat down, so im a little sick of it(dont worry ill be back in a couple days) right now im going to try to work on a Notepad application

Great update! The collision detection is much better and makes the game much more enjoyable than it already was. I like the level select too!

On your original post, the zip link for v0.08 actually points to v0.07, but the rar link is correct.

The game is great, and the new version is even better. Can't wait for powerups .

Sweet. version .8! Btw, i'm not sure if this has been asked, but would there be a way to incorporate a level creator in the game?

Love the new version! I updated my level-editor to support the new blocks and I added a few rows more for extra freedom in level creations!

On top of that I had a go on the graphics, please try out my graphical-enhanced version of Break which can be downloaded here. I tried to keep the menu's the same, but also make the gameplay more fresh and crisp. I also added the .PSD's for the blocks, paddle and ball and a extra set of coloured blocks which could be added in future versions!
LedZepp: If you like it, feel free to use the graphics. No credits needed .

(PS: I added a little surprise level to the graphical-enhanced version of mine. Old-skool arkanoid players might recognize it!)

You Are Awesome!
Now I can create all the levels I want with no trouble at all!

Default addons and updates to the game

you should also add in wireless head-to-head competition in the game also, and have powerups that would mess up the other player.

It's better than ever with the latest update, but I noticed a collision problem. The right side of all the blocks allow the ball to go under it, and when there's one block left that's proving difficult, and the ball keeps sliding under it, it gets really annoying very quickly.

Other than that, your improvements are wonderful.

I didn't play the old version much because the ball would bounce off the paddle at a 45 degree angle no matter where it hit, but this latest version fixes that and It's a lot of fun now. Good Job. The only thing now is that the graphics could use a little bit of an upgrade. It would be nice if the bricks had more of the 3D look of the sir tet blocks. And I don't care much for the background either.

You can edit any graphics you want in "zBreak008\zBreak\Content\Images". You can swap out the background image with any image you want and you can change the bricks and and ball and paddle or whatever else you want to change. I made myself a version with new menus and everything. The only think i kept was the bricks because I actually really like them.
