Seriously, this is the best game I've played for the zune so far. It's incredibly smooth. I play a lot of tetris and I love having the game on my zune. that said, it could use a high score menu, control options, and changing music playback mid-game.

I don't know if this is possible, but it would be great if you could make it so the backlight goes off after a few seconds while in the main menu or while it's paused. It's a minor thing, but it would save a lot of battery life if you need to have the game paused for more than a few seconds and you don't want to restart the game.

Default Touchpad

I know some people have said this already, but I think touchpad support would make this the absolute best game on the Zune.

However, it'd probably be easier to remove the "scrolling" touchpad feature, and instead only enable taps; I believe Alien Aggressors utilizes this, and it makes playing a lot easier. 2nd generation Zune 80s are notoriously difficult to click; their direction detection is a bit too specific. In other words, "Down" is a very slim area on the touchpad, as are all the other directions. Tap support would enable a much larger sensitivity area, and would make this game perfect.

Other than that, though, absolutely incredible work. Great optimization.

Default Touchpad Support

I hope you don't mind, but I edited your code and added touchpad support for Zune 80s. It works absolutely wonderfully; it's a testament to your efficient code.

I haven't uploaded it yet because it's your project; if you'd like the code, email me at maretard@gmail.com. The changes are really simple, I'm guessing you could've done it yourself easily.

If anyone else wants the touchpad-supported version, contact itsnotabigtruck and ask him to give me permission to distribute.

Default Whoops

Oh, I didn't realize that the GPL allowed distribution of modifications. Ha, my bad.

Never mind, modifications to be merged with version 0.3.

i agree with both of you but for it to run smoothly you have to make two versions. the normal version and the touch pad version... remember the XNATetris? it used to be both touch pad AND clicking and that messes it up.

Yeah, Definitely there should be an option to turn off touch if you don't like it. I was really hoping for touch sensitive though, jsut because all the clicking is a bit annoying.

^Btw, Sumare is the same person.

Roflmao, nice, apparently I have multiple personality disorder.

Yeah, that was my suggestion at first as well, the double-edition; however, ITSNOTABIGTRUCK has done it again and added an option to turn touch on and off.

Next version (he's about to upload it) will have this feature, as well as high scores and instant-drop.

The game's great, but every time I try to have it play music (playlist or any) my Zune just restarts. I'm gonna redeploy, but if that doesn't fix it, is there anything else I need to do?

Awesome. Really like this one, it's got the most polish of what I've seen so far.

Default well

Game, was definitely an improvement, but I don't know about graphics. Looking at the new game the graphics seem down graded instead of keeping the glowing effect from the last version it looks like you dimmed everything down. Unless it's the same and your game tells the zune to drop the brightness. I like the menu and all the options seem to work fine, just not too happy about the dimming.
