Multiplayer should now work! I tested the multiplayer, fixed the problems with it and it should be working now. I'm back at home so I can't test how well it works(i.e. make sure the two zunes follow each other movements well and such) but they should actually connect and have a game now. The best part is they can continue to listen to their own music with their own visualizers and everything!

cool game... is there a way to make the paddle not automatically move after you click it. I have a z30 and I find it easier to play when i can move the paddle my self and not automatically and make it not bounce. waiting to find another zune so i can try out the multi-player... but i like you game cause this is the first one that has multi-player...
thanks...

Yep, difficulty 0 doesn't have the acceleration/momentum.

Did you turn wireless on? Wireless must be turned on for the multiplayer to work.

That's what happened to me when my wireless was off...
For me the multiplayer works great, and I was actually playing with a friend in Business class...

Yay! Good to know that it's working well. I figured it would cause I got it to stop crashing and everything but I hadn't been able to actually try it. FusionJones, I thank you.

Wooo another version. This one allows you to turn off the acceleration on any difficulty. Basically, I took out difficulty 0 and added a new menu option to turn off the acceleration. Both with and without acceleration work fully with everything else. Enjoy

Everytime I download your pong, it won't delete off my desktop or be moved anywhere until I restart. It's VERY annoying and it doesn't happen with any other games.

edit: And when I tried to go right on my Zune30, it wouldn't go right FIVE times until after I went left, but by that time, I already lost. And then when I tried to catch it all the way to the left of the screen, it shoved my paddle aside and dropped down.

*delete*

I'm not going to lie...I kind of hate it. Haha, sorry. Whats up with the weird acceleration and the way it bounces off the walls. Since when did the pong bar bounce off the wall? Also mine (on the zune 80) has some serious frame rate issues. Is this just me?

nevermind. I figured out how to turn off the acceleration and when not running through the computer it fixed the framerate issues. I wish it was easier to use the zunepad. I think the position of the paddle should just correspond to the position of your finger on the zunepad.

Default Menu Glitch

There's an error such that you can keep scrolling above and below the title menu options indefinitely.
This needs to be fixed such that when you scroll down from the bottom-most option, the top option is selected or nothing happens and vice versa.

Weird controls, the paddle bounces and doesn't stop moving. I don't like that.

@Canadianzune: umm can't tell from that... what are you trying to do when it says that?

@ZuneMan4: you can turn off the acceleration/momentum in the main menu to make the controls the same as standard pong.

@Y2KBlackout: ya, I know about this one. Will be fixed soon. In the mean time just don't go up or down that far

Known Bugs:

Infinite (Extra) Movements when going up past "one player", and below "quit"

Sometimes paddle wont move right at start of game unless i first move left(Sensor and acceleration options off)

When im in the menu, (One player, two player, etc...), and i click on back on the zune, it kicks me out, rather than me manually going to the quit button and clicking it.

Possible Fix Ups:

A more user friendly menu

Save my settings options(Sensor/acceleration/momentum)

So far thats what i experienced the first 10 minutes playing this game, havent tested the multi player yet, but nice job on this so far.

liberate: Thanks for the feedback. I'm gonna work on those bugs for the next release. For pressing back when at the menu, that's actually by design. There's not much of a way to press it on accident and since that's the only thing that makes sense to do if the user presses it at the main menu, I made it quit. Good idea about saving the settings, I'll look into that

Thanks, I thought that the acceleration was only for the ball.
