With the new version I still get the error about the solution files.

I think it would be better to have shoot as something besides squircle click. It is hard to shoot and move at the same time with one finger. Maybe it could be play instead? Just a suggestion.

I added The SoundManager from Alien_Aggressors and Added music to your game, using Audio files i had. Does the new update include music. We have to figure out how the Microsoft Developers Access the music library or playlist library on the zune to work in the Sandbox programing enviroment

O the intro is sweet. Nice Work! Best game so far!!!!!

everytime i open it up it says
"Solution folders are not supported in this version of Visual Studio
Solution folder "Zune" will be displayed as unavailable.

then it says
Some of the associated properties could not be read
or something like that.

I've tried the first version(for 30 Zune) and now i've tried the update.
I have Segoe UI installed.

Any reasons as to why it says this,
and any help on fixing it?

I wanna try this game out.

C# Express Edition does not support solution folder, only the full version of VS 2008 supports them. You will need to find someone who packaged the game already or wait untill the author changes his set up.

In order to fix this issue, you can edit the solution file manually (open the file in notepad). Remove the "Zune" project and then under Nested Projects, remove the one for the actual project. Besure to backup the file before you do this though!

I am hard at work on a better version though... here are some screen grabs:

The menus now are in "space"...when you press up or down you glide to various stars. Selecting an option zooms into the star.


This is a bit outdated, but I am supporting playing music on your Zune now and have included some sound effects.


I am also working on how I want to layout how the game is played... Here I have included just the thought of having each galaxy be a part of the game, some being harder than others.

Can't just yet... there has been a delay due to the fact I have to do some recoding work in Thrust. It is going to take awhile too. So I won't even be able to release an update for my games for awhile. Trying to fix some issues with the content management.

so why isn't the highscore thing working? I mean I beat it and no update at all... is that going to be fixed?
