I guess it would be a good idea to create a new thread that could be used for anyone who is seriously creating a game.... something filled with posts that just say: I am working on this and that.
I really think its getting tooooooo quiet here... Please let us know what you all are working on. Just to get some kind of overview if the game development for the Zune died or not.
Personally I am working on:
- Valgards Fate: currently adding Quests, NPCs and a Questbook
- Running Man: reeingineering the whole game. The new engine will allow gameplay like the old C64 game Green Beret (or at least similar...)
Basically, post up whatever programs you're working on at the moment, status, and additional info like projected release date, etc.

I'm working on a game for the zune that I hope will turn out something Galaga.
It's hard to project a release date, I'm pretty busy anymore. Also, this is my largest project to date and there are a number of new techniques that I've been researching and practicing.
Once I get good at all that I'm researching, it won't take too long to complete. I have a networking system and menu and controls system down and complete, I just have to add the campaign and the AI and the other major core elements.
My pipeline is filled with the following Zune projects:
- Valgards Fate (currently adding quests and NPCs)
- Running Man (reengineering the whole concept, the new Running Man will be more like a platformer, something similar to Green Beret for the good old C64)
Because I am a very busy job/family man (3 kids including a 2 months old babyboy) I have only little sparetime for those projects. But I will post progress in the respective threads.
I'm guessing that's !truck's way of announcing an update to RIG to work again?
Nah, truck pretty much said that unless we can crack the proprietary handshake for syncing, RIG wouldn't work again. He does, however, still use that site for his work, so I'm guessing it's supposed to be a game.

I just wanted to mention, with the XBL game, I've been rather busy doing stuff for it and i'm too tired in my free time to program. I haven't done any work on the game I announced for a while, but it's not dead.
I just want to finish the XBL game first.
As a side note, I think this should be made a sticky in the Dev. Discussions. I had trouble finding it. Though... maybe it is stickied already.
Um, Well I'm working on updating Groove to 1.7, the update will include levels/story mode. Better Highscores system. Z.A.V will be upgraded to 2.0, or possibly removed and paired with ZuneWall. ZuneWall is a new app, it shows the now playing screen on your zune, quite nifty and cool looking. Mean while zQ is being created, it is a ZuneQuiz. I'm still devoloping the concept/art/programming. and Star Shooter will be obsolete.
Musician:
Menu is browsing way too fast... I have an idea of what to do... implementing it later.
My friend is working on animations (he loves animation... a lot)
Almost done for the full version.
My next project: a calculator then something but don't know what.
Great Idea!

thx Jorvette!
Musician: Menu is fixed, still waiting for my animator to finish...
Right now I got 3 things to get done; New menu (Waiting for friend to finish animation), (something I won't mention), Networking. I can't tell if I am close to 1.0 or not.

Game State Management Improved:
I am currently working on an improved version of the Game State Management, which will have preset functions like ability to rotate screen from portrait to landscape, have a preset save settings function, scrolling menu (both vertical and horizontal), ability to customize the background, a music list (hopefully the one from SirTet, thank god truck gave me permission to use that), and ya. basically a Game State Management with a better menu interface, for both the enduser and developer.
Platformer Expanded:
On side of that, im working on Platformer Expanded, i have fixed most problems that were present in the latest beta release, which are the first level going slow, the boss not working correctly. i got the skin selector working on the windows version, but its not working correctly on the zunes version, i am also working on trying to get the save function for the in game level editor working.
