Default Greatly Improved XNA Deployment Output...

I have not seen anyone mention it yet, but I have noticed that when deploying XNA games in Visual C# with XNA Game Studio 3.0 Beta, the output that it sends to the output window is many times better than in the CTP. Before, it would just give a couple of lines that were incredibly vague and not too helpful. Now, it says if it is opening a certain container, deleting a certain file, deploying a certain file, etc.

I happen to appreciate this a lot. Thank you, XNA team.

I haven't noticed it, But I have noticed that the deploy is faster. And the zune itself runs faster, it can handle more graphically enhanced games such as groove.

I have noticed that as well. It seems like they have optimized it a bit.

This is usually to be expected. CTPs and betas are very often not fully optimised. In extreme cases they even ship out debug bits to ensure error reporting is more helpful.

I like it cause groove runs faster, and you don't see the horizontal lines when something updates (fast) on the screen. I will make groove go fast now, cause I can!

I still see vertical lines (because the images are moving sideways) for my game. Also, they definitely put more memory restrictions of some sort. I can not load as much as I could before.

emulators are illegal, unless you get permission from what it is emulating.

Oh, guess you should've been here to say that many months ago, y'know, when the emulator was being announced and in it's newborn stage of development.

I hope so. Has anyone tried it yet?

ROMs for emulators are illegal (unless you own the corresponding cart). Emulators aren't, and where the ROMs are obtained is the user's business.

I've still got truck's build but i haven't had the time to recode it for 3.0 beta...and learn the graphics engine behind it. and the tutorials i've had are out of date.

I'll be hunting the web monday to see what i might be able to do...but college works take priority... I'm sure we'll get something, given time...

(That's one of my mental issues there, i just don't give up...eventually i'll remember and, snap...it's done )
