Question Picking up development of games

I have done very little and only minor HTML projects. But i was wondering if its even possible to learn and pick up the "art" of makeing a zune game. I'm just intersted in doing it and make custom applictions and so further. Is there a "Noob" guide i can follow to makeing a game/aplication. Or is it basicly you have to have prior experince to do type of thing. Any comments, suggestions, etc. are lovely. Thanks to anyone that does reply.

1. google.com
2. google.com
3. google.com

This question gets asked SOO many times. It all depends. I assume u dont know .Net. Id start with VB.net and then move on to c#.net then XNA and actual game programming. do a little searching on it...

I agree and that is the path that i took as well.

Html is so far from programming that ive never actually considered it programming...do others consider it programming?

Anyway, buy a book or read online and come up with a sample project or two that you know you cant do and dont stop working until you get it done.

then move to C#. By that point it should be readable to you and then its only a small step to programming in it...

Good luck

HTML is not a programming language. It is a markup language.

Yea.HTML isn't programming. Its static, and has no logic involved, vars, or other things. It give instructions on how the text is to be displayed.

A programming language uses logicand vars, and is compiled into machine code to run.

The other one is a scripting language (php). Which is not compiled, but uses logic and vars and is interpreted.

Actually,

Markup Language (HTML): A layout.
Programming Language (C#): A set of instructions.
