[IN PROGRESS] Zuneopoly

I have decided to work on Zuneopoly! This developement thread will be in place until I can get a working release.

The purpose of this thread is for me to be in constant communication with the community about ideas, and for me to request images - I have no patience for pixels

So, to start off:

Design Concepts:
Post concepts you have, If i like em, they will go here
* Zune versions as railroads

Board Squares:
We need to collectively come up with a list of land. Post your ideas, and if I like them, ill put em here!
* There are 8 land groups, 6 have 3 squares, 2 have 2 squares

Images Needed:
* Monopoly board "gutted" made as generic as possible as to not include land words, utility images, railroad images, etc. I will be putting images on top of this to create the board
* Icons for squares, like zunes for railroads, taxes, etc.

Technical Specifications:
* I will first make teh original, so I can write code while ideas are being brainstormed. The option to switch themes will be included.
* First will come single player, with different ai types (land grabber - buys all land it can, tycoon - saves money until it lands on a property worth atleast X, and others)
* Multiplayer will come later (i still have to learn the api

)

so what is the view going to be like? Will it show the whole board at one time? Will it zoom in when you move? Ect.

I am working on that now. I think the screen may be to small to see it all at once, so Im trying to add a nice smooth free-zoom.

Todays Update: I created them menus, and started working on the theme class. The class is really powerful, and will allow users to create their own themes for the game. This includes names of all property, car stacks, and a system in which cards can be created. I wont go into details, but cards are processed by a neat function I am gonan write which give them the ability to modify someone's property, their hotels, money, etc.

Im glad everybody is as excited as I am. O, as a teaser, I posted the main menu. Its nothign fancy, just something to keep u all on teh edge of your seat!

kiknwing - thx for your help. For the image itself, I would like 1/4 of the board to be 240x240 pixels. I will be zooming aorund the board. So if it could be 480x480. If i need a larger image, ill let you know. And if you could clear it up, its kinda fuzzy in places.

@ kiknwing - thx again for your contributions. A bit of a change in plans: can you scale each square to be bigger, thereby reducing the center space. The board size is good, but if each square was bigger, it owuld be easier. All i need for the center space is the 2 outlines for cards, and a square equal to the "free parking" square in the center. I play monopoly with the free parking rules, so its a game option. Thx again!

If you want to keep the board a square like I have it, I can't crop the squares. But if I make the board more of a rectangle shape, then I can reduce the center space. Let me know if you want to keep it a square or change it to a rectangle.
