Zune Gen 2 Scroll Check

I was wondering how you could check for a scroll(like the normal menus) on the touch pad versus just touching the side of the pad. I do not see a direct method in the documentation, but I may have overlooked something.

Keep track of if the touchpad is being touched. Keep track of the starting point and the point at which the finger releases. Then figure out how fast this movement was.
