Description:needs to be converted to a C# app right now it was written in c++ for ms-dos.
Instructions could be written by person who converts it.
Anything you want to say: you can take complete credit only for the zune app. it has some good bugs but i think thats what i get for making this in c++. it was the first and second app i made.

some source code might be good. Its a little hard to just work with exe's!

oh, and working in C++ has nothing to do with the bugs. The fact that you are new to c++ does. I started c++ as well recently, and have managed to get rid of my bugs. When i look at that source, i can see if i can help you get rid of some of the problems

bloodshed dev-c++ 4.0. it came w/ my book. you can use visual studio to make it also

why cant you just use a calc to convert degrees to celcius/fahrenheit?
it would take a lot less time then creating a zune app.
of course... what is the fun in that?

exactly i think that it would be harder but rather than having to remember the formula, you enter your number, boom your done.

I was told that since C++ and C# are so vastly different, there's little point in attempting to translate the code.
I have kitty cannon in c++, but there's not much hope someone will convert it.

This would be a pretty useless app by itself, I would wait until Tiptup releases ZuneHome, and then just write this for it

As I said, they'd probably be better writing it from teh ground up.

For something like this, it's just a simple mathematical formula. The UI itself would need to be made from nothing, but the important part of it (the formula itself) would barely need to be touched.

Still, my opinion is that it wouldn't be worth the time. Instead, you could see if you could request a function in Nurta's graphing calculator that would automatically convert Celsius to/from Fahrenheit.

Just convert to a base (Celsius) then make the proper adjustments. This is an extremely simple application. Which would be perfect for Zune Home. Also could possibly do money conversions too.

Money conversions would need the current currency change value (if thats the right word, but I guess you know what I mean).

Well actually, c++ and C# are quite similar, thus both being c named laguages, but there are enought differences to make it quite hard to convert, and just easier to write from the ground up.
