Well if you are serious about learning C# (like you want to learn to program it for a job someday) I highly recommend just buying a book.
I currently have been reading Head First C# and it is the best programming book i've ever read by far. It really keeps you entertained and teaches you things over and over in different ways so you will remember. Here is the site. Head First C# | O'Reilly Media Unfortunately, this book costs 50 dollars. =/ But you can find it on amazon for around 25. And do you know any other programming languages?

Here's the mantra: Learn C# first. Then learn the XNA Framework.
Some people get by learning both at the same time, but for 80% or more of people, trying to learn both at the same time simply makes it too hard to do. Think of it like the English language. You first learn the constructs of words, sentences, subjects, predicates, etc (think of this as your C#). Then you learn how to use those constructs to make a book or research paper (that's like your game using XNA GS). You need the basis before you can build upon it. Again, some people get by, but most people will only find themselves having problems they think are XNA GS problems when in reality they are trivial C# issue that, had they read just a few chapters of any C# tutorial or book, they would have been able to solve on their own. |

well i'm backing off c# for now i need adobe flex3/air more. i can always learn to make games but with flex will add value and $ to my business. i'll be back i just need to make a desktop widget that i'll use instead of emails. i only pay $17 for one now but it has mac issues. the new one uses air but would cost me $11k per year. so i'm going to build my own mouse trap. i'm really thinking about just paying for lynda and vtc for the training videos that way i can knock out a bunch of birds at one time. vtc does have c# vids. and i've been trying to learn a bunch other stuff as well. so i can spend $60 for hours of learning.
