But The way I was told, games would have to be made specificly for the zune. Can't wait to be proven wrong!

There seems to be some confusion here, so allow me to explain further:
This Pokemon game that Max is now coding is not meant to be a remake of the original Pokemon games for the Zune. It is meant to be an entirely new Pokemon experience, coded from the ground up by Max himself. There will be over 90 ALL NEW Pokemon featured in the game. It will have an ALL NEW storyline, set in an ALL NEW region. DarkZune staff are working extensively with one of the most highly respected and experienced Pokemon designers on the web. She has created the set of all new Pokemon that, I believe, follow closely in step with all of the Pokemon created so far. This is by no means a replacement for the Gameboy classics of Red and Blue, or of any of the Pokemon games to date. If you are a fan of the series, then this will definitely be a game you will want to get. If you lost interest after Red and Blue, well then maybe not, wait for an emulator to be made. P.S. - Just because there is an emulator for a certain system doesn't mean all of the games for that system will automatically work on it. All games are different. |

Okay let me get a few words out, while in debugging mode it should only eat possibly 2 frames AT THE MAXIMUM. Any more and you've got bad programming mechanics. Remember doing ANYTHING in programming is extremely easy. The hard part is finding the best way to do it.
Do you have much programming experience in OOP? Any C# at all, possibly C++, or C? Java? Which languages are you familiar with? |

Sounds good, however, I am not into Pokemon.

Good job on the whole game. Most of the other games are just short games, some ripped off from flash games. It will be nice to have a full length game on the zune, without having to wait for the emulator to be finished. Besides, If I want to play one of the originals, I'll go dig up my gbc and one of the games

I'm actually glad you guys are making new pokemon and a new storyline. That would make this game much more fun, since we won't know what happens and what pokemon are in it.
Also, is there any way you could do wireless trading from zune to zune or is it not possible? Either way keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to playing this game.

O.O woah looking at the screenshots, I can tell I'm liking this already xDD
I'm still a kid when it comes to pokemon so much that I'm playing online rpg games for this XDDDD If it was on my Zune I'd kill the battery but it's worth it XD But.....eh? You're thinking of making your own pokemon, what? xDDD Well if you are I don't mind actually giving ideas for pokemon since I'm like a pokemon freak XDDD Good luck on completing it~! ![]() ![]() |

Those ss's look amazing. This game is gonna be awesome.
Also for those of you who are saying that an emulator would get rid of this... 1) this is a whole different game, just like comparing blue and silver. 2) An emulator would almost definitely have a terrible fps because it has to load an entire game with whatever it is ram the zune uses. (im not saying they wouldnt be awesome, but definitely wouldnt replace a well-poished zune designed game) And finally 3) If you do think an emulator would replace this, why tell them? Thats just insensitive. Keep that to yourself. Those at Darkzune have worked very hard on this im sure, and dont need you to say their work was for nothing, even if it was (i dont think so though) |
