amazing tiptup just came across this thread and couldnt help reading every page im glad you never left your definetaly a credit to this place and its amazing to read what you ana and slim were saying because some of it went over my head and really made me want to be a better coder... anyway i know undead said he was working on a contact addon but i noticeds he has since abandoned his origional prgm so im gonna give a wak at adding my contact prgm ZUI its on this board anyway ill post back, nice job man

edit - im confused everytime i compile the only thing that shows up at run time is books and settings, ive started altering the sample file but it just wont show up at all???? is there something really obvious im missing

IIRC the Sample app is missing either the attribute or a thumbnail (forget which). Check out the other apps for an example of how to fix the Sample to make it show up.

hey tiptup could you send me that contact book image you used. ive been playing around with the sample and it definately wont be a big problem to port over my contacts program i wont start now because im tired as hell but yea i would love to be included in this project and ill get started first thing tomaro

Yah know what. Just remove the thread from Completed Applications, I'll make the thread and make it more organized.

its not th hard to just download winrar, if not for this you will probably need it often, it says its a trial version but it never runs out download.com is your friend

not unless it is reuploaded as a zip but winrar is really easy, once you install it just use normal windows explorer find the download, it will look like 3 books i think because winrar changes the images then just right click and select unzip here
very easy, just dont actually run winrar because thats probably why your confused

you save then unzip with winrar if you have any more questions google has you covered, keep this thread on topic

Boy I'm tired of hearing posts like this! Not just from this thread but any development fourm I've ever been a member of! If your afraid of trialware or something I can understand, but you are going to need it sooner or later, it works on just about any OS (Yes linux too) Just download WinRAR allready!

Sorry, but I felt like there needed to be a rant somewhere in here.

ps use newztoolz can deal with .rar. and the full version is free so yeah google it!
