I need ideas on what to include into this.
Please make them reasonable Sorry about video being on the side.
Since i made this video i fixed up the generation for the circles, and its made the buttons alot easier, keeping them the same in the video. You get more white, blue, and red (first 3 from the left) than green and yellow(the other 2) Theres a score counter at the top which tells you how many notes youve hit out of the total. I plan to include multipliers into this. Notes start small and get bigger as they get closer to the bottom of the screen. I dont want to release the code until im happy with what i have, and im not right now. Im jsut stuck on what else to include. Last edited by LedZepp : 05-29-2008 at 11:53 PM.

An option on how many uh strum thingies to have. So you can have just three (since reaching that far is a bit hard to do fast) and if there were three, have it adjust so it's horizontal with the buttons

You can do a streetracer with this... (I know that was not your intention, but you can
)Put a car at the bottom that you can steer left/right to change the lanes and the blocks can be exchanged with obstacles and other cars. Goal of the game: Try to avoid any collisions as long as you can. You could add a highscore for additional motivation.

audiosurf.... sucks... no offense to the creator
But YES!! finally GH for zune! Does it go along with the music or is it just random? I think there should be 2nd gen zune support. In the ipod version there are slurs or something and you slide your finger along the click wheel to hit a kind of "special" note. I don't know how better to explain it, and after 20 mins couldnt find a video of it on youtube or anywhere. So, what I'm saying about 2nd gen, if you have hammer-ons (the white notes on GH3), you slide your finger from one side to another and it works like that. Actually, I think there should be different controls: you hold a direction and hit the play/back button (whichever it doesnt matter).

Wow, looks like this has GREAT potential! One thing I'd maybe request is that when you hit a note correctly, perhaps have an animation to show that it was hit, sorta like how when you hit a note in GH the note goes in flames or something?

okay first of all--NICE! This has so much potential. When this game is finished (hoping to turns out alot like Guitar Hero) it'll be one of the best--iPod, whats an iPod?? LOL. Seriously, they have parachute and solitare, and we'll have tetris, slaam!, and guitar hero!
Also, LedZepp, very clever way to align the controls, but how do you pause it and thus exit the game? the UP botton? <I guess right now i can take it any 1 of the 3 ways since im still at a very early stage> also, it could go three of three ways. Just use the same code for the three games (if there is any) until you need to modify it, but using the code for this game as a base could work, no? anyways, good potential

you need holds, or whatever you would call them. Something where you hold the button for long notes. Obviously that wouldn't work on the back button because it would quit but all the other ones would work.
