Default NES Roms 99% sure to work!

An emulator I was previously looking at called SharpNES programmed entirely in C# has already been ported to the 360 via XNA. We could definetly port this into a zune version.
Though there is no sound in this emulator this still looks amazing.
XNA Sharpnes

Excellent find.
Makes me wonder if there are any other Emulators out there that ought to work.

Unfortunatly, they won't do us any good. The Audio API's in XNA do not
allow for writing to sound buffers. THIS MEANS THAT NO EMU OR MEDIA
PLAYER CAN HAVE SOUND SUPPORT ON XNA IN ITS CURRENT STATE.
Quote taken directly from the site. Unless this is fixed in XNA 3.0, we have absolutely zero hope of getting sound in this emulator

Not awesome.

But that made it sound like it wouldn't work for any XNA game.
Perhaps they'll let us listen to music while we game?

Cool. I need a GBA emulator though. I would love to be able to play Fire Emblem on my Zune. However, I could try out the Fire Emblem games on the NES, though they are all in Japanese.

I like I like. Wonderful find!
Come on Excite Bike, Zelda, Contra, Mario!
Are there any plans to make a golf game?
That would be fun, even if its a putt putt version.

We have the option of listening to actual music on your zune instead.

Awesome.

some game company for windows made a minigolf game that was awesome and it was in a semi-3d perspective (not using acceleration) this could be a really good idea!! I want minigolf / put putt golf on my zune! (and NES emulator is a definite must.) the guy wanting a GBA emulator on zune is thinking a bit unrealistically, while the zune has an intense CPU and pleanty of resources, the XNA framework would not permit for a fully functional GBA emulator (especially since it'd have to read ARM-7 CPU codes... and so on, even though the zune is basically an amazingly high end strongarm processor...) .. GBA just isn't likely... I'd like to see SCUMMVM on Zune... but heh... not really likely.

Heh I can only imagine trying to use the buttons to play the games though, they aren't exactly arranged for such a task. A turn-based game like Pokemon might work just fine, but anything else just brings back memories of Doom on the iPod back when Linux was first ported to it... A cool hack, but not practical at all.
