I eat the grilled cheese as a snack after school before I go workout since its hight in carbs. So really it depends on what you consider a snack or a meal.

Kinda, but the way I make it it's more salsa than cheese. But a friend of mine makes his more cheese than salsa. It depends on your tastes.

...in 10 days you've almost gotten 500 posts, that is ridiculous. best snack, first you need a good glass glass. it is recommended the glass be clear for a better snack. Second thing is milk...mmmmm... third thing needed is saltine crackers.....mmmmmm....to make this delicious snack you break the saltine crackers up as you would if you put them in a soup and put it in your glass of milk. It seems really weird, but just eat it/drink it, it is delicious. o and congratz
It's not fancy till they put apples on it. I ate at this restaurant once, and I didn't have much cash with me, so I looked for something cheap, found a 5 dollar grilled cheese, they had fu*king apples(and like 3 cheeses) on it. I was like, I'll get the grilled cheese, no apples or swiss cheese. And yes the apples were in the sandwich, my friend got it. FFS Sorry bout the double post...grrr....

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup takes me back to my younger days (always wanted to say that!)

alright...this is a breakfast thing...my mom makes em for me:
take those cressent roll things...put them together...so they make a square...then get cream cheese...like a whole bar of it, put it in a mixing bowl and mix it with about half a cup, or your preference, of sugar...mix it till it is a cream...then put that stuff in the squared cressant rolls and fold them over, then put some melted butter on top and then some cinnamon-sugar on top of that...then put it in the over, i will ahve to ask later for the exact temp's and how long...but she normally puts it in for like 15-20 mins in a 300 degrees.... AND congrats on your 1000th!

![]() Introduction A blintz is a crepe stuffed with a cheese mixture and then fried if desired. Instructions Difficulty: Moderately Easy Things You'll Need * Groceries * Measuring Cups * Measuring Spoons * Mixing Bowls * Skillets * Wire Whisks * 3 large eggs * 1/2 c. milk * 1/4 c. oil * 1 c. flour * 2 tbsp. sugar * dash of salt * 1/4 c. water * 8 oz. cream cheese * 8 oz. cottage cheese * 1 tsp. butter * 8 tbsp. (1 stick) butter * applesauce, fruit-pie filling or sour cream Steps 1 Step One Place, in a large bowl, three large eggs, 1/2 c. milk, 1/4 c. oil, 1 c. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, a dash of salt and 1/4 c. water. 2 Step Two Whisk together all ingredients. It should be a thin batter. 3 Step Three Add a bit more flour if you want a thicker, more controllable batter. 4 Step Four Let the batter rest. 5 Step Five Use another bowl for the filling. Mix 8 oz. cream cheese, 8 oz. cottage cheese, 2 tbsp. sugar, a dash of salt. Allow to warm to room temperature. 6 Step Six Mix until smooth and well-blended. 7 Step Seven Place a frying pan on a stove burner until it becomes very hot. 8 Step Eight Add a teaspoon of butter to the pan and rotate the pan off and on the heat so that the butter coats the bottom. 9 Step Nine Use a ladle to drop enough of the batter into the frying pan to cover the bottom. 10 Step Ten Rotate the pan so that it's covered with batter. 11 Step Eleven Drain off the excess. 12 Step Twelve Allow the batter to cook until the center bubbles and the crepe slides in the pan. 13 Step Thirteen Place in a plate. 14 Step Fourteen Add a tablespoon of filling and wrap the blintz: fold the sides in first, then one end and then the other end (like an envelope). 15 Step Fifteen Place the blintz edge-side down on a plate to cool. 16 Step Sixteen Use the remainder of the batter to make individual blintzes. When all are made, place a stick of butter in the frying pan and let it melt. 17 Step Seventeen Fry all the blintzes until they're golden in color. 18 Step Eighteen Place them on a paper towel to drain. 19 Step Nineteen Serve with applesauce, fruit-pie filling or sour cream. Congrats on the 1000th post! I'm still scraping my way up to 1000... lol. I usually throw a brownie pan in the oven now and then, lasts a while! There's a few variations that you can throw in them too.
Ingredients: 1 egg 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1/2cup of flour 2 1/2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup of sugar *I usually throw in a 1/4 cup of milk to make it a bit richer. From here you can throw in: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter Handful of chocolate chips Broken up Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Or break up your favorite candy bar, add nuts, or whatever you feel! Preparation Preheat oven on high. Grease a 3 1/2" x 7 1/2" baking dish Throw the butter and sugar together, beat them to a cream with a fork Mix in the cocoa powder Whip the egg into the mixture Mix until there are no lumps Stir in flower Now spread it into the pan (as evenly as possible). Bake it for 20 minutes or so, or wait for a toothpick to come out clean. Well that's about it, hope you try it and like it ![]()

A heads up: Sunday, Dec. 2, voting will open. You may still submit an entry during the voting period, but note that it won't have as much time to be voted best.
If you've got anything you're holding back, post it today!
