My brother just gave me an Xbox 360 for X-Mas right, I know how to set it up and everything I'm cool in that department. But I live with my Grandma during school and she has the worlds oldest TV and I have no idea how to plug in my new Xbox 360 to that TV (too broke payin' tuition can't buy new tv right now) so wat do I do? Help me PLZ.
Well, does this TV have some red, yellow, and white sockets? Those are for the RCA cables that should come with your 360. If it's coax(the round one you screw on), you're out of luck unless you can find some sort of RCA-to-coax convertor. Radio Shack might have something of the sort.
there are rca to coax converter in some stores still.. maybe check a dollar store or target or any electronic store i don't see why you would play xbox360 on a old tv

Well I spend 70% of my time in that house so I"m not gonna take my Xbox to my parents house where I do have an HD TV, so I'm screwed I guess I'll just have to get a new TV from my parents cuz I really wanna get rid of that old tv oh well thanxs for the help guys
Depends. Some have RCA jacks, some don't. Just look around for red, yellow, and white sockets. Some have them but don't have the firmware to actually use them though, like mine. If it comes with a manual, you can check that.
You could pick up an RF converter from Walmart for like 15 bucks, or at least I think I got mine for 15 maybe less I can't remember... Anyways you plug the RCA cables Locke is talking about into that and you also plug the coax IN cable into it. You then have to get another coax cable to hook to the coax out and also connect the other end of that to the RF antenna/coax port thing on the TV. I saw reports online about RF converters really degrading the quality of a 360 but it looks just fine to me, albeit I'm not big into high definition things. I hope this helps.
Many of the Composite Jacks on the tv boxes are composite out. I have two different ones, DTV, and Fios, and they both are video/audio out. but some do, it just depends on the model.

Yeah I think the one at my parents house is output only and I think they have Comcast.
God it would just be easier to get a new TV right, cuz the one I got now is a total piece of crap, that I mostly just watch TV on the net. Thanxs guys for all the help
