XBL,or not to XBL?that is the question....

ok im getting a xbox 360 in march.mom is giving me 300,and i have 55 saved.I get 7$ a week and no job.so reason being for another remote is because i can finally have people over and have something to do.but im thinkin,gah then i cant have xbox live!so backup for choice 1 is to just goto xbox connect till i can get xbox live.
i think ima go with choice 2 in a way,cause i can play online with you guys and some my friends,3 of my friends dont have an xbox,others do.then again i never really have friends over cause there aint **** to do.so that is why i want to get another remote so we can play,and xbox connect is free,so we can play online.so i think im leaning more for 1,but bit more pricier.just hope mom is cool and lets me have a bit more to get choice 1

ordering off walmart.com for 360 ect,and if i go with live one,im ordering 360 n play n charge from walmart and live from newegg.so heres the dealy-o :

1.360 bundle+remote+2x play n charges=444$ including shipping(hope mom will spot me a bit more,if not choice 2 auto.)
or
2.360 bundle+xbox live 12 month(newegg)+play n charge=426$ including shipping(should have almost enough for this alone)


so i just want to see what you guys think?

you definitely want live. theres no ifs, ands, or buts. if you dont have live you shouldnt bother with a 360. just get a second rechargable battery when you buy the second controller and use 1 play-and-charge cable to keep them juiced up. thats what i do and i've never had a problem of both controllers dying at the same time.
live > split screen, by far. plus you can always get your friends to bring their controllers if you need.

yeah....now im thinking,you guys are probably right.its just the thought of me being able to play for free and get more 360 stuff.i had fun on xboxconnect the times ive played,but sometimes was a pain to find games.ive only played live a couple of times.

you only need one play and charge and Xbox live is an absolute must.
