Need Graphics for School Group

Alright, I am in a school organization called "EGO" (Electronic Gaming Organization), and we're looking for a new logo. I'd really love to get something classy, not too complicated. Something that could be easily recognized, and be put on a T-Shirt if necessary.

Basically, I would just like it to be the logo and "ego" somewhere on it. I would also love for it to be a rather Large, high quality graphic so that it can be resized as needed.

If someone can do this for me, I'm willing to donate 25 $zB. More if it's amazing

This is our current logo, but I think we're looking for something less generic, if possible.

Nothing game specific.

A little bit of information on the group:
We set up LANs for Console and PC games
We are a school group, so nothing violent/gory
We do Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PC LANs
It's all about having fun and celebrating the fact that Gaming can bring people together in a positive way.

A good example of a logo is the MLG logo:

Simple, is easy to identify as a gaming organization, and is iconic.

here are two that i came up with....if u like them i can send u an individual png or psd of each with transparency so u can easily put them on shirts or something.

EDIT: i just found a few mistakes in the top one....i will try to fix them asap =]

u should fix the allignment of the words with the big letters......for example in organization...some letters are touching the big "O" and some arent...same with the gaming. other than that its very nice........i like the gradients u put on the letters.
