I like the first one better. The reasoning is that it has kind of a glossy look on the bear's smooth surface. The second one has fur which shouldn't be glossy yet it still has the glossy effect.

Don't get me wrong. I love the gloss effect as well. That's why I liked the first one better. It just has a nice simple look to it where the second one adds complexity.
