Default Are you a Right Brain or Left Brain thinker?

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or counter-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning counter-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking

I'm left-brained. What about you guys? Props to Lacrosse for showing me this.

That has been around for a while, however recently it got a resurgence in the already cliche area of right vs. left brain.

I can see both easily, it really isn't a good judge of left/right brain, especially since the difference between the hemispheres aren't as different as pop culture suggests. If so, people with hemispherectomy (yes I had to look up the exact word) wouldn't be able to both believe and know.

I dunno how you're supposed to see it going clockwise. If you look at the reflection of the dance, it's obvious the dance is going (I thought the term was) counter clockwise since the foot that's swinging around has the reflection - and that reflection swings at the top of an arc....and the foot that's spinning, the reflection is obviously going counter clockwise.

Or is it just my brain???

I guess I use both (mostly right though). She was going clockwise until I starting reading and then she started going counter-clockwise. (I've never heard of anti-clockwise)

I thought that was a shadow myself....

But that has nothing to do with it, the interpretation of the direction of the rotation occurs at a more basic level, it isn't a concious thought determined by analyzing all the details.

It does seem a little off when you actually consider it when you are viewing it going clockwise, but it could be a really weird lighting source or something...

Look closely at her face, boobs, and foot. It doesn't turn all the way, so that means it's basically moving back and fourth in a U form. look VERY closely; what you think is her back is and can be her boobs facing you. =P
