Default Help With My Lyrics App

im finally getting around to writing my lyrics app im using the book reader 2.8 i believe its open source if its not just PM me so we can figure out whats going on with my project

anywho i am now writing my app that will scan your music collection and find out what songs you have and it will search a few different websites for the lyrics if it finds a lyric it will (hopefully) save it in a folder for each singer or what ever you have in your music collection heres an example

Lil Wayne
Lolipop
Eminem
We Made You
Crack A Bottle

T.I.
Dead And Gone

i know old examples but it really dosent matter

now how can i get this done this is my first app that ive made ever i have modded some windows files before but thats nothing like this

how do i get it to search the database aka music collection and to use the information that it gains to search and then save these files in a specified directory aka the books folder in bookreader

i dont have much this is what i have

the name as of now is Lyric Finder but its defitnatly not final so if you have any ideas for a name tell me

thank you for all the help and support zuneboards!

here is what i have pretty much a GUI and a few buttons and system calls or what ever they are (the database searcher is in it just has no code)

....seriously? Why the hell is it so hard to understand? You need a good foundation in programming before making even the most modest of games/apps.

[err, post was cleared so I have to type this all out again [just with more ire]]

No, I do not look like an asshole. You are just being a jackass. "I want this big thing done, someone do all the work for me!" It's not a beginner question you're asking someone to do all the work.

A real beginner question would be "How can I move a sprite on the screen using the touchpad" or "What do the 'private' and 'public' things mean?" NOT "just do all the work for me, i don't know how."

So here's what you want to do before starting this [retarded] project. Either A) Go buy a beginner programming book to accelerate your learning progress. or B) Take a simple project like pong piece it apart and figure out how it works. OR C) Go back to just asking people to do all the work for you.

What I would suggest first is making an app where you physically plug in the lyrics for it, not make the zune search.
