How many people use the RSS on Zuneboards?

I use it on MyYahoo personal portal...I wish more boards I subscribe to exposed their new posts via RSS.

I did a google search and looked at the wiki for RSS, but i still dont really understand what it is. Could some one break it down for me?

I know i've seen it on 1up's and major nelson's podcast site, does it have to do with automatic downloading?

From Wikipedia:

RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated pages, such as blogs or news feeds.

So basically, if you post the ZuneBoards RSS on your site, all the latest posts on ZuneBoards will be viewable on your website.
