Sharing pics, digital business cards?

Of course this can be abused, who knows what type of pictures a stranger or someone you just met sends you.

However, on the flipside, I see it as a great way of giving someone your calling card. Think of it, you create a photo 640x480 max in size so that Zune doesn't resize it down...and use it as a business card of sorts.

Next time you run into someone with a Zune that you want to stay in contact with, beam your "Zcard".

A great way to create a personalized and creative calling cards with as much or as little information on them. Create several! But please, no pictures of your body parts....unless they can be considered "artistically tasteful. :anal:

No I haven't yet...but I was thinking of the whole "Social" aspect, and that would be a great way to stay in touch with someone.ÂÂ*ÂÂ*You'd get more information than just a slip of paper with a number on it that you find tucked in your wallet/purse weeks later and have no clue who or where it came from.

And I'm sure many will have at least two versions, one with their real telephone/e-mail info, and one with a bogus number for the times when you're feeling "anti-social" but don't have the heart to say NO!ÂÂ*ÂÂ*ÂÂ*ÂÂ*LOL

I'd be happy to help...but the realm of 2D design is beyond me. It really takes a totally different mind set and design aesthetic that I lack.

Also, my photoshop abilities are very basic. I'm great with visual effects, but the "advertising" design is better left to those with a better skillset in that area.

However, I'd be happy to help if I can.

I'd rather leave that up to the creators of the board...or...perhaps you can make it a competition...give away something nice!

This would actually be something interesting to send to Microsoft for them to put in a future firmware. Have a one click option to send your zCard to other zunes, and also have a spesific list of zCards in the photo area (or otherwise). It was be a major selling point for business men (<<pc>pc>women<<pc>/pc>) on the go. It would add that next group of people, along side the 20something slackers they market to right now lol.

No need to include a special function, it's already there....just have a directory called Zcards.

I wish Microsoft had some more interesting commercials...say...a club scene, or better yet, a coffee house. Two people, sitting at opposite ends of the place listening to their Zune's. The woman (yes, cliche) spots the guy with the Zune....he doesn't notice her...we cut to him looking at the track he is listening to when a message pops up notifying him of an incoming image file. He accepts and then views it....it's a picture of the woman with her phone number on it. He looks around, eyes her, smiles...she smiles back....we cut to them sitting together....fade to black....."Welcome to the social"
